After school Macy was on her way home with Liz and Jade. As Macy drive up to her house she noticed her parent's weren't home yet. She would have to call them then. Macy , Liz and Jade walked inside and went to Macy bedroom.
"So heard anything from mystery person yet?" Jade asked playing with her fingers.
"Actually yes and we need to be ready." Macy said as she brushed through her hair.
"Ready for what! We have no idea who this thing is or what it wants Macy." Liz said getting angry.
"Liz knock it off it's going to be ok." Macy told Liz putting a arm around her.
"Hey you talk to Connor yet?" Jade asked. Macy blushed remembering the little conversation she had.
"Yeah but he didn't say much." Macy said disappointed.
"You should follow him home tomorrow and knock on his door and ask to talk." Liz said.
" That's perfect Liz!" Macy said. There was a special kinda happiness she felt in her chest something new that she never felt before.
After the girls were done talking and hanging it was time for Liz and Jade to go.
"See ya tomorrow chica" Liz said giving a quick hug and disappearing into the night.
" Bye Macy" Jade said and slowly walked down the driveway and then she was gone.
Macy got ready for bed but realized there was still no sign of her parents. Macy grabbed her phone and typed in her mom's number and called.
"Hello?" Macy's mom answered.
"Mom where are you guys?" Macy asked alitte worried.
"We told you this morning we were going away fro a week." Macy's mom said angry.
"Oh yeah wow sorry." Macy said feeling alittle stupid.
"Bye Macy." Macy's mom hung up.
The next morning Macy got up and meet Jade and Liz at the front door for school.Jade was the first to greet her.
"Macy we got a problem." Liz said arms crossed.
"What's wrong?" Macy asked worriedly.
"It's Connor he's not here today." Jade stated as she snuggled into Nathan's chest.
"Oh ok." Macy said. She felt like everything in her broke. Oh come on she thought one day without him I can do it she thought.
"You looking for Connor?" Nathan said brushing his fingers through Jade's hair.
"Yeah." Macy said looking past him she was really upset.
"You want his address?" Nathan asked as he kissed Jade's nose.
"YES I mean yeah sure." Macy said.
Nathan gave her the address and Macy left. She walked and walked and finally she got to the apartment. She knocked on the door and waited. She was about to knock again when the door opened.
"Hello can I... oh hi uh um." Connor said scratching the back of his head.
"Macy.." Macy said feeling a little sting of disappointment.
"Macy yeah um can I help you?" Connor asked alittle puzzled.
"I though maybe we could talk?" Macy's asked trying to get him to let her in.
"Um yeah sure." Connor said opening the door for her all the way and letting her in.
Connor sat down on the couch and Macy sat at the other end. Connor beginning asking Macy questions and Macy answered enjoying talking to Connor. Then Macy turned to were Connor was sitting and he was staring at her. Macy acted like she didn't see.
"So Macy I uh saw what Tim did to you the first day of school you ok?" Connor asked moving alittle closer.
Macy sucked in a quick breathe when Connors hand landed on her thigh.
"I uh yeah I'm ok." Macy said looking at her hands it always hurt talking about Tim or seeing him with Jenna.
"Macy look at me.." Connor said taking his hand and turning Macy's head to look at him
And then all at once Connor leaned in closer and then his soft lips were on Macy's. Connor laid down and pulled Macy on top. Connor's tongue explored Macy's mouth as she tangled her fingers in his hair. Connor and Macy explored each other for as long as they could. Macy pulled back to breath as did Connor.
"Wow!" Was all Connor said as he continued to play with Macy's hair. Macy laid her head on Connors chest and just relaxed as she tried to catch her breathe. Connor continued to play with her hair whisper cute little things in Macy's ear.
Finally Macy thought this is what love is this is what it really feels like.
