Chapter Seven
Nichole's P. O. V.
I sat in my room looking through the book, and I read almost all of the book.
A lot of the stuff that seemed important like maybe how to do all of the spells or magic or whatever you call it, was in a completely different language. As in more like shapes and symbols.
I was starting to get frustrated when I knew I needed to understand everything in this book. This book could be the only thing that could save my life.
"What's that?" I looked up and saw that little girl. Lucy was her name. She was referring to the brown book in my hand.
She walked over to my bed and sat in front of me.
"To be honest I don't really know..." I trailed off handing her the book.
She gasped loudly. "Oh my gosh." Her mouth hung open. She didn't even touch the book, lead alone read it. How did she know what it was and why was she acting like that over it.
"What? What is it? Do you know what this is? Can you read it?" I started throwing to many questions out so I stopped.
"That's the book of The Fallen Angels." she spoke as her eye's never left the book.
"Well what else is it?" I asked wanting her to say a little more.
"Only Fallen Angel's can really read it. Legend has it that when they find that one thing that there asking for in the book, the symbols will rearrange and sort themselves out to only the one who seeks the answer. Only you will ever be able to read it." She said getting up off the bed and walking off.
"Lucy wait! How will I find the answers?" I asked.
"You won't... You'll just know." She said leaving.
I closed the book and went and took a shower.
After I got out I looked in the mirror and took everything in.
My face looked so much better than when it did when I first got into the shower. The dark circles sat strongly under my eyes and stress lines had taken a toll on my forehead. My hair was shabby from lack of personal hygiene.
I put on a white long sleeve vie neck and some black skinny jeans with some dark brown knee high boots. I grabbed the book and a small throw over 7'' side bag and headed down to the basement.
When I got down to the basement I grabbed the flash light and made sure I did make the same mistake I did before by not taking it with me.
I got to the second door and entered into the room that I stood in just a few days ago. I turned around and closed the door.
I walked to the middle of the room and pulled out the small leather brown book out. I stood there for a sec and started reading it again. I walked around a bit looking through the book.
As I turned around a figure caught me off guard and scared me.
Harry was standing on the other side of the room.
"Uh you scared me. I didn't see you come in?" I said pointing behind me to the only door that's attached to this room.
"I didn't use the door." He said quite cruelly.
"Okay...? Where did you come from then? The thin air?" I snapped back.
"That seems logical since I didn't come in here from the only entrance." He said walking away in a different direction as if he were leaving the conversation.
