Blink once, blink twice. Still there in her hand a small pile of ashes where the flower once was.
"Believe me now? " she asks, blowing the ashes into the rest of the flowers. As they sprinkle onto the dead looking flowers they brighten and bloom.
"Holy shit. This is real. I'm not crazy, you're not crazy. Holy shit."
"I wouldn't exactly call it holy but thank you." she chuckled.
Looking into her eyes I could tell she was completely serious and there was no way I could pass on this. Before I could even think the words fell from my lips.
"I'm ready."
"I had a feeling you'd say that. I need you to understand that there are going to be consequences if you fail to save his life, I can't tell you now but just know they are grave." She explains with sad eyes.
"Why can't you tell me what I'm going to get myself into?"
"I am already breaking the rules for this I cannot break any more without dire consequences. So just understand that I can only tell you so much."
"I understand. But why are you doing this for him? You said it wasn't his time?"
"All I can say is that he can be saved if you're willing to do what it takes. I understand that you were close to each other so there is a greater chance of living the life he was ment to."
"How long do I get?"
"Thirty days."
Then all I see is absolutely nothing but pitch black.
