Zendaya's Pov:
" Daya!" Keala's voice called out to me as my family and I all walked to my trailer, I tureen to see her running up to us, " You don't need costume change, today your doing your own version of Rewrite the stars." she told me grinning.
" By myself?" I asked surprised.
She nodded to me, " The fans want to hear you sing it, especially since we did that thing where we listened to fans and stuff sing our songs, everyone wants to hear you do it." she explained to me.
" Ohh." I blinked at her still surprised, " well where's the studio?" I asked her tilting my head a bit, " they moved it since the last time I was in there."
She just excitedly grabbed my hand and pulled me with her to what I suppose would be the studio as I chuckled at her and let her just pull me along with her, my family all following us,
"so I think Michael wanted you to change it up a bit, making it a Zendaya song, but keep the movie effect in it." she told me, as she opened the door, letting us all into a building and down to a huge recording studio, stooping at the door, " everyone is waiting for you, ill see you later Z, I gotta do some filming." she hugged me and left.
I stood outside the door, nervously, before taking a breath in and opened it, to see all of the technical people there talking and smiling, " Heys guys." I smiled at them all, " what we doing today?"
" where re making rewrite the stars and putting the Zendaya twist to it, the fans want to hear your voice Z." Amanda one of the workers said to me grinning.
" okay so what parts am I going to sing? I'm sure its not my own because it would end up the same as the song now." I said was I grabbed the lyric sheet in front of me, " what about Zac's part? ill just obliviously make it to fit my voice." I suggested to them all, getting into my professional mode a bit.
" hey you got free range on this." John, another worker, told me grinning, " everyone has agreed to let you have way with it, seeing as you gave the actual song writers the idea to make Zac's part acapella."
I grinned and looked back down it the sheet, thinking of how I would sing the lyrics in my head, " hm... anyone have a high lighter?" I asked them, not looking up to focused, I mumbled to lyrics to myself, getting a feel on how I put my twist to it.
Someone held a blue highlighter in front of my face, " Thanks..." I said still focused and grabbed it, immediately taking off the lid and got to work, thinking and writing what I wanted on the paper in front of me, some times muttering before writing it, this went on for 30 minutes before I breathe out.
" Okay." I stood up and grinned, " lets get to work!" I exclaimed to everyone excitedly.
Amanda chuckled at me, " Vocal warm ups, then we will go over what you want, then we will record it all." she told him, as I nodded to her, " I don't need to tell you your warm ups , you got it." she grinned at me.
I grinned back, before going though them all, pacing around the room a bit as I did, as they all watched me or got everything ready.
" Okay Z give me your sassy high note as a triple run to see of those vocals are good to go." John told me, when I had stopped.
I cleared my throat a bit before doing it with ease, " did that sound alright?" I asked him, a legit question.
" perfect as always!" Anna, one of the workers, said to me grinning, " your good to go!"
"Okay give us the rung down." John said before the lot of them came over na sat down in front of me.
" Okay so like I said ill sing Zac's lyrics, where gonna make it match my voice so were going to use acoustic guitar and maybe do a little echo effect into it as I sing, also ill be adding my own runs to it and stuff, so don't worry if its totally different to the song, umm.. at the end I want my family with me to sing the 'woah..." parts." I explained to them all.
