A Fifty Year Mission!?

Your POV

We entered the guildhall, it was a mess as always, there was a bunch of broken tables, chairs, food and people scattered EVERYWHERE literally! I deadpanned -_- , I looked down at Astra, she looked shocked and scared.

"Relax, this is their normal routine... You'll get used to it." 

"Doubt it."

I made my way to the bar Astra still in my arms. I had to avoid tables, chairs, food, people, Natsu, Gray and an angry Erza.

Once we got to the bar I called Mirajane over,

"Hey (Y/N) I see you're back, oh! I see you brought back a friend/partner back!" she said in a happy tone with a closed eye smile.

Astra's POV

"Hey (Y/N) I see you're back, oh! I see you brought back a friend/partner back!" she said that with so much enthusiasm that it made me think that she didn't know we were standing on a battlefield -ish? Ugh you know what I mean.

"Um I would like to join the guild please?" I said with a tint of pink on my cheeks. 

"Of course! But you have to go see the master first!" I nodded and looked up at (Y/N), she looked down at me and nodded.

Mini time skip cause I'm lazy

I got my guild mark on my back and it was white. I met some of the guild members, they were fun to hang out with I think I'll stay here. 

"Hey (Y/N) you never told me you were an S class mage!!" 

"Heh sorry bout that." she said that while lifting her hands in defense.

My scowl from before returning. 

Your POV

"(Y/N)" I heard master say, so looked in his direction. 

"Yes master" 

"Come to my office please." I complied, 

"Yes master?" 

"I would like you to take this fifty year mission." I was totally shocked 

"But why me? Why not Erza or Laxus or Gildarts!?"

"Laxus and the thunder legion and Gildarts haven't come back yet and I need Erza here to keep an eye on the guild while I'm not around"

I was still in shock but I asked: 

"Can I bring Astra with me?" 

"Do as you please" he then handed me the job request. I scanned it, it wasn't hard but it did take time. I nodded then left.

I walked over to Astra, I saw her talking and eating fish with Happy. I then got tackled from behind. 

"Hey, sorry for that (Y/N)" I heard a cheerful voice say, 'Natsu'. 

"Hey Natsu, it's ok"

"Astra, time to go!" I yelled. She looked at me with a questioning look but shrugged it off and said bye to Happy then flew into my arms.

I brought her to my house. It was a small open hut, the living room was outside and the bedroom and the bathroom and kitchen were inside, it was also built on the water. 

The entrance facing the shore, it had a lacrima so that robbers and dark mages could never break in.

I filled her in on what the master told me, she looked at me shocked but asked me for the job request.

We talked about when we were going to leave. We decide to leave tomorrow evening, we packed some essentials, when we were done we fell asleep on my couch.

The next day

We went to the guild and said goodbye to all the members leaving them in tears, But that didn't mean we left without crying as well.

After we left, we walked to the train station and boarded the train that led us to our destination.
