Your POV
Aiko was currently dragging me through the large crowd of people that littered the streets. She made it clear to me the I needed new clothes, she fainted at the sight of only finding 3-5 pairs of(P/S/S) [Pants or Shorts or Skirts] a few tops and a simple easy-dress in my bag. So now she was dragging me, while I was dragging Haruki, 'cause for one. I didn't want to be the only one who has to suffer. Ryusei was busy running some errands.
We stopped walking in front of a store, in bold red it said, 'Nova'. It was a small charity store that sold clothes and other stuff that people didn't use anymore. I wasn't one for clothes, so while Aiko was rummaging through piles of clothing, Haruki and I were taking about life.
Aiko came back to us with a pile of clothes in her arms, all ranging to different sizes and colors. She dumped it all in my arms and pushed me into a vacant dressing room,
"Just look through it and see which one's your size, then try it on and come out!" Her enthusiastic voice was loud and well...enthusiastic.
I tried to sort them out and somehow turned up victorious, I eyed the bright (L/C) [Least Favorite Color] (L/PC) [Least Favorite Piece of Clothing]. I sighed and ended up choosing (F/C) [Favorite clothes], but what I didn't expect was a pale, burly man shooting beams of light to the unsuspecting crowd when we came out of the store.
He looked almost insane, his head whipped from side to side seemingly searching for something, his pure black eyes locked onto us, and from his muscular hands shot out the same beams of light. Everything seemed to be in slow motion, I jumped towards Haruki who seemed to be paralyzed with fear. I hugged him tightly to my chest as we skidded on the cobblestone street. Aiko managed to dive out of the way safely as well, I looked at the man and gave him the worst glare I could muster. He looked unfazed and continued attacking, I pulled Haruki up and told him,
"Find Ryusei, quickly!"
"But, what about you and Aiko?!" He asked worriedly, fear shone in his green eyes. I gave him a comforting yet determined smile and replied,
"Don't worry, we'll manage...somehow." I whispered the last part, and gave him a reassuring nod. He took a step back and hesitated then sprinted off. I looked to my left and gave Aiko a nod.
"We have to stop it before it destroys the whole town! Judging from its size, it won't take long!" Aiko shouted, I agreed with her, and with that we both attacked.
Aiko managed to pick up a metal pipe and smashed it down on the back of the man's head. I used this as a distraction and tried to use my magic.
It didn't work.
My eyes grew wide, I guess being in a coma for seven years nullified my magic. My jaw clenched and my brows were knit, I let out a frustrated yell. I scanned the debris and saw a pan, it was probably the most weirdest thing to choose, but my choices were limited.
"A pan?! Seriously?!" Aiko shouted in exasperation, I looked at her and shouted back,
"Well, I'm sorry! My magic isn't working and my options are limited!" The only response I got was an eye role.
The man turned and faced us, now that I could get a better look at the man. He wasn't really a man, he was inhumanly tall and muscular, his shirt was ripped badly and so was his pants/shorts. His hands were large and furry, he had sharp, black claws that looked like it could tear through skin and tissue like it was nothing.
His feet were bare, but instead of skin there was fur with equally long and sharp claws that matched the ones on his hands. He also had scars littering his arms, legs and face.
It looked like he was in mid transformation, I ran towards him and jumped, slamming the pan on the top of his head with a loud 'clang'. Aiko managed to hit the back of his knee making him cave and a deafening roar to rip from his mouth.
I winced at the loud sound, but the beast was soon back on his feet. He grabbed me and threw me down hard on the ground causing a loud scream to fill the air. My head spun, but I managed to get up. Aiko was sitting on the back of his neck and slamming her pipe on his face.
The beast was clawing at her, but she managed to dodge them until it went to grab her. That's when she flipped off of him and land safely on the ground.
"Are you OK?" she asked, her tone full of worry. I nodded numbly, I grabbed the pan that I dropped and threw it at his face. It landed between his eyes and he yowled in pain clutching his forehead.
Aiko went to give him another blow, but he was ready despite having been hit several times. He slashed at her, and missed by barely an inch, I found a few intact, but bruised vegetables and fruits on the floor. I took a tomato and threw it at him, tomato juice and flesh were soon splattered on his shirt and bare skin.
Aiko an I locked eyes and a silent message of agreement passed between us. I continued to throw whatever was on the floor at him, while Aiko crept up behind him. I threw a melon and aimed it at his face, but he caught it, and I swear, faster than Laxus' lightning. He spun around and slapped Aiko away like she was a pest.
"Aiko!" I yelled, despite her being a bit older than me, I still saw her as the energetic teenage girl when I first met her. She flew and landed harshly on the ground and rolled, her back hitting an unstable wall that was barely holding up its ceiling.
My blood boiled, I tried to use my magic once more, but it was in vain. I screamed in rage, the beast focused its attention on me once more and walked to me. But my gaze was elsewhere, The ceiling on top of Aiko was slowly collapsing, pieces of rubble nearly hitting her unconscious body.
I dashed towards her dodging the beast's blows and jumping over debris and rubble. I made it just in time to catch the large piece of stone that was once apart of the ceiling, that was going to smash onto her.
I took a breath, it felt like I had just been winded, I tried to push the large piece of stone off of us, but it was too heavy.
I furrowed my brows and gritted my teeth, I was in a kneeling position where my arms were holding the rock up. The beast turned to us and bared his teeth, his teeth were pearly white with sharp canines.
He came closer each step seemed to cause an earth quake, beads of sweat dripped off my face and back. I had no idea how long I keep this up, but by some miracle the beast stopped.
The wind picked up and swirled right in front him, the wind was fast and harsh. I closed my eyes to stop anything from going into my eyes, I opened my eyes when the wind stopped. But, in front of the beast stood a man.
The man was handsome and tall, his skin was a bit tanned and his eyes were silver. He wore a lab coat with a white button up shirt and dress pants.
His purple hair covered his left eye, he looked at me and smirked, but his smirk grew when he saw Aiko's body behind me. His voice was smooth like velvet, it was loud enough for me to hear, but at the same time it was quiet.
"Long time no see."
