Chapter 5

Sagittarius POV

"Sag, sag, sag, sag, sag, sag, sag, sag, sag"

"WHAT?!"

"Are we there yet?"

"No, for the twentieth time, we are not there yet. We are still missing about two hours. Go to sleep or something."

"Fine I'll go to sleep then."

"Thank you." I started dozing of when...

"Sag, sag, sag, sag, sag"

This is going to be a long flight.

---- AT THE AIRPORT

"Ok Leo now we are going to look for the driver that's supposed to take us to the Academy."

"Yes, mom" he rolled his eyes, and I started looking for someone with our names in a paper. After a while, I found the person I was looking for.

It was a woman. She had a paper with Leo's and my name written on it. She was checking her clock every five seconds and then look up again. What took me aback was her appearance.

The woman was tall about 5'9 ft. (180 cm) but still wore heels. She's wearing a knee length pencil black skirt, a white dress shirt and a black coat. That was normal but then I looked up to her face and had to take a second glance. Her skin was as white as snow, her hair has a bluish-greenish color and is curly, her lips were a dark red but what caught my attention the most are her eyes. The woman's eyes are white. They are completely white with a light blue limbus to differentiate the iris from the sclera. They are creepy but I can't avert my eyes from them.

Since I was taking my sweet time staring at the woman, I didn't notice Leo walking away. I decided to introduce myself to the lady because she seemed a bit agitated.

"Hello, miss? My name is Sagittarius and this is my cousin Leo." The woman looked besides me with a confusion taking over her features. That's when I realized I lost Leo for the fifth time today.

"Damn it Leo, not again!" I mumbled under my breath. I started looking for Leo when I see him talking to a man by the entrance. I was going to tell the lady that my cousin was by the door when I look at her eyes again. This time her eyes weren't white but a dark orange. I was stupefied. Did I look wrong the first time? No, I'm sure they were white the first time. What the hell?

The woman started walking towards the man and Leo. Leo saw her approach with me behind her.

"Oh hey Sag! This man says that he knows how to get to the academy and that he'll gladly give us a ride there."

I looked at the man and immediately felt something out of place. A bad feeling. The man has dress shoes on, dark brown dress pants, and a long fur coat. His hair is completely black, straight and a bit long that it covers most of his forehead. He has tan skin and a beard. His eyes though were completely black. They are like an endless black void that sends shivers down my spine. Something was wrong with this man, and I knew we shouldn't trust him.

I looked over at the lady. She was staring at him with red wine eyes, and he stared back with the same intensity. Something is really wrong with these two, and I'm starting to think it was a bad idea leaving Spain to come here.

The lady moved her hand up and before she could do anything the man vanished.

"What was that?!?" Leo is looking at the now vacant place besides him.

"Come on, kid, we have to go. It's already late, and we have to get there before 8 o'clock." The woman's voice is smooth but something in it sounds so authoritarian that you become submissive to it in an instant.

In the car I had so many questions, but I don't know whether I should ask them or not. The lady turned to us at the back seat to make sure we are still here and then smiled. Her eyes turning a light pink.

"Hello kids, my name is Circinus, and I'll be your guide for this trip."

Leo's POV

I felt so tense after the encounter at the airport. I know that I shouldn't talk to strangers nevertheless in a new country were I know no one and can easily be abducted. It's just that there was a voice at the back of my head whispering to me saying, "come to me," that I just let my feet drag me wherever the voice was coming from. That's when I met the guy from the entrance.

--- Flashback

"Hello boy, where are you going?"

"Um I honestly don't even know sir." I felt like if I was in a trance. I couldn't think straight and felt as if I couldn't move.

"Ah! Let me guess, your name is Leo?" how does he know my name?

"Yes." I didn't mean to answer, it just came out of my mouth before I could stop it.

"Are you going to the academy? I could take you there." He grinned at me, but I knew better than that. Still I didn't manage to get out of whatever was controlling me but at least came up with an excuse to delay it.

"Um I came with my cousin. I would have to ask here first."

"Oh that's no problem. I bet she would be happy to come with us." I doubt that.

That's when Circinus and Sag came to us and everything came back to normal.

I don't know who that man was, but it is more than obvious that he didn't have good intentions.

Sag keeps glancing at me as if wanting to say something but is holding herself back. I know what she wants to say but not even I have a clear answer to her question.

"Leo I know we are in a new country and you want to make friends as soon as possible but you can't just talk to whomever you see first!" I knew she would say that.

"Sag I know that. I don't know why I did it. I felt as if I didn't have control over my own body and just ended up there with him."

"Oh wow! And you expect me to believe that?"

"I do." That's when we remember we aren't alone in the car. To our surprise Circinus was speaking to us from the driver's seat.

"You do?!" Sag and I exclaimed in disbelief.

"Yes, I do. Listen kids, I know that you have been living a normal life up until now, and I'm sorry you have to go through this the very first day that you've arrived. You know there is more than what the human eye can see, and you'll have to train for whatever is yet to come. I'm not supposed to tell you this since you shouldn't know about this information yet, so I beg you to keep quiet until the headmasters say anything about the subject which might take some time. Can you do me that favor please?" Sag and I look at each other before we agreed.

We arrived at the academy moments later with a different feeling about it. We both got our dorm keys and parted ways.

I entered my room for the first time to find it empty. Since I was the first one I chose my bed. I decided for the bed in the right corner. I laid in my bed and looked up at the ceiling wondering if I made the right decision by coming here.

I UPDATED!!! HOLY CHEESE THIS IS A MIRACLE!!! Don't expect this to happen again anytime soon.

I still wonder how I can write a story with more than 1K words in a day but can't write an essay of 400 words due in a week.
