Chapter 5 ... THE UNEXPECTED

Khael's POV
《 Inside Mavie's Unit 》

I just went in Mavie's Unit. What she said is still playing back in mind mind. "Then you are doing something now with me. Follow me" that's what she said and went inside her Unit and so I followed after a a minute or two I think. She's giving me all the shocked even I am not yet able to recover from the previous shock she gave.

Mavie's POV
《 At my Condo Unit 》

I am now inside my Condo Unit. And I am not alone unlike before. I am with this guy from the past, surprisingly. Thanks to my Mother! My Mother who pretended to leave and walked out all the way out on this Condominium Bldg. When infact she just hid herself in one of the adjacent corner of the Condo floor to see if I will be going in my unit with Khael. Yeah! That's her! That's my Mother! Exceptionally applausable with her Extreme Crazy action!

I shrugged the taught and moved on or else even the 10% happiness Im feeling now will be loss.

"Khael? Anything you wanna drink?" I asks. He looked at me with those eyes. Yeah, those eyes that I am only seeing when I'm day dreaming from the past.

"U-Uhh anything will do." He said while smiling unsurely. He's surely too tense and uneasy. Maybe because of what he just witnessed a while ago.

I headed to the living room holding a tray for the juice and some sweets I ready for him. To my surprise he approached me and took the tray from me and put it on the table. 'Hmmm, still the chic and sexy gentleman' I said on my mind which I snapped right away

Then we sat but not near nor siding each other. Since I'm sitting opposite to him

"Go ahead and eat." I offered while looking and pointing the food and drink on the tray.

"T-thanks! How about you?" He asked.

"Ahh, Im alright. I just finished before driving home. I really don't eat here" I responded to him

"Uh I see. So, you are always dining outside?" He asks while looking

'God! That look on his eyes, how much I missed it!' Oh, no snap that out Mavie!' ..

"Hmmm" I start while slightly pouting "Yes and No" I said which caused his eyes go even smaller in confusion

I look at him amazed, 'This guy is just so adorable, with all his facial expression' ... I stand up and went to the Kitchen to get a water pretending to be thirsty haha

Then I walked back and seat again realizing he still have the same impression, "Err-, sorry I left you hanging there." his question that I am not answering yet, "I am just occasionaly eating outside, but most of the time in the office."

"Ah I see." He said while nodding

I then asks "What are you doing anyway outside awhile ago?" pointing into my Unit lobby

He looked tense but able to answer. "Uhh I just thought Im hearing some noise coming from here, so I tried to check. Yeah, thats it." He said while nodding

I also nodded in recognition to his answer. "I see. Well surely it's my Mom. She might have done some inspection here. --" I said while roaming my eyes around my Unit "She's like that. So maybe that's what you hear and caught your attention." "But wait --" I continued since something caught my attention. Which made him a little taken aback "How did you hear it anyway? I mean are you a passer by or ....... you are my neighbor?" I asks Khael
