Mavie's POV
《 In my Office 》
I am now in my office and working on some papers. When a sudden knock lands on my office door. A signature knock, that only one person can do. I didn't lift my head though I said 'Come in'.
And after less than a minute, I felt this someone sitting inside my office couch just acrossed me. But still didn't lift me head knowing who's this person.
"Still working your headoff, darling." She commented, but I still didn't respond nor look at her. I heard her took a deep sighed. "When can I get to talk to you again Mavie?" She asks, but still didn't any response from me. "Alright, I will take my leave now. I just really wanna see you before doing something big out there." She said and take her leave. After I heard my office door closes. I lift my head staring at the now closed door of my office.
I dial my secretary's extension on the intercom and asks her to come inside my office. After no less than a minute, she arrived.
"I want you to check of what's my Mother dealing with now. Little or Big things." I said to her and signal her to leave
What does she mean about that. I asks myself talking about her last statement before leaving my office. "... I just really wanna see you before doing something big out there." That's exactly what she said. I stand up from my swivel chair behind my office table and walked on side, facing the view outside my office window. Thinking things out. I am actually feeling all tired acting like this to my Mother. I know it's hurting her. I'am hurting her. I am wanting to forget things and just let ito all go and ... start. But I really don't know how.
I don't think I'll be able to work anymore. So I decided to leave early at work. I called my secretary again and told her to cancel all my appointments today and just send me an email if there's anything important to update me. I don't wanna be called for today. After that I took my leave and drove my car.
I stepped out of the Car and gave my Car key to the vallet driver and headed to the Condominium Entrance. And as I'm waiting for the Elevator. I glimpse to someone that I am sure of I know. I look back at the same person's direction and I'm right. It's her! So, she's back! She is facing the a group of young bachelors and talking to them. Wow, what a view. Well I don't think I should be surprise seeing her here, 'cuz wherever Khael is ... she follows. So she still exist to Khael worlds, I guessed. A smirked came across my lips, a bitter one. I was on that thinking when suddenly someone dragged me inside the Elevator and bumped to it's broad shoulder.
"Oops sorry babe." He said, apologizing. I start moving and stepped back to get away from him. I looked at him and saw that it's ... Khael
"You seems spacing out there when the Elevator opens from B1 to Ground floor. That's why I decided to dragged you in." He said, explaining
I just nodded at him and turn my back to him, facing the Elevator door now. "Thanks." I said in a whisper tone
"You don't look okay." He said, making me face him again and looking me in the eyes now. Yeah right, I am not okay and it's because of your girl. The very same girl as ever.
I shrugged his hands of my shoulder. "I'm alright. I just need to rest." I told him, lying
"Can I do for you?" He asks, looking and sounding all concern.
"No." I just said and start walking outside the Elevator to the hallway, leaving him behind. I fasten my pace of walking to avoid him and when I open my Unit's door ... he stepped inside before I can.
"What are you doing?" I asks him, as I followed him inside my Unit he is now standing facing me and looking at me intently. He's looking in my eyes then his gaze travels to my ... lips. Ehh? My lips? No, no, no! I told to my self, getting all worked up
