《 In my House 》
I am now at home and being tortured by a pair of eyes that's looking at me sharply. If looks can kill a person, then I'am surely dead by now.
My besf of friends of all time just never changed all through these years. We were parted for almost 8 years because her Mom sent her away for some unknown reason. It just happened one day that while we are at School she was dragged by Bodyguards and the next thing i knew was, she was sent away to another Country. But good thing we are still able to keep in touch.
"Mavie, come on! Stop torturing me with your looks!" I blurted out as I crossed from my Door entrance to the sofa where she's sitting. I sat next to her and embraced her. "Come on! I'm sorry for being unable to pick you up from the Airport. Welcome you back home in your Unit. Accompanying you in your meetings. Being with you in your drive out session." YES! I missed all those things that is why she is sooo like this. HAHAHA
"Well, I didn't know that you are more busy than I am!" She said sarcastically as she stood up from her seat and walked towards the Cabinet on my living room that is full of pictures, most of it is our pictures together. "Hey Mavie, that hurts! Even though Im not as busy like you, I am not anymore the slouchy girl that just not doing anything and just waste time by hanging out." I responded to her.
She then turned to me and said, "Oh well, since when? Since when that you are not anymore the slouchy girl that just not doing anything and just waste time by hanging out?" Ugghhh, Mavie just threw back to me my so recent statement which is one of her specialty.
"Ahmf! Let's just drop this topic Mavie my Ultimate Best of friends, huhh? Hmmm?" I requested to her while giving a fuffy eyes and with her attitude, ofcourse she just gave me her greatest glare and looked away from me.
"So, what happened with the New Business you are entering?" She asked as she put a great stressed in the word New Business. "Well it's fine so far. There's a lot of work but it's quiet doing okay compare of what I'm expecring." I finished and looked at her and to my surprise her eyebrows are up and she's going in my direction. And it just sync to me why she's like this.
She stopped in front of me and put her two hands on my shoulder making me face her. "Fine and Okay" said Mavie "So those words still exists?" She asked but I didn't answer. I just gave her a weak and unsure smile. This friend of mine is really something else. "Let's see where these Okay and Fine words will bring your New Business, Jvee." She said and let me go and went back to her seat.
I just let out a little laughed and assured her that everything will be Alright. And as I had my eyes to my Kitchen direction I remember I didn't offer anything to her yet. So I start, "I'll get you drinks. What do you want Mavie?" As I'm waiting with her response, someone ring the Doorbell.
Mavie and Me just looked at each other, both looking like wondering who could this be. So I walked towards the door and to my surprise, it's a delivery boy. And the delivery is a bouquet of flower. I just signed it and received the flower and brought in inside my House.
"Someone special huuhh!" Mavie spoke which made me look at her and saw that she's smiling as she is looking the bouquet of flower that I am putting down to my table. Then her look goes to me still smiling but this time it's more like she's teasing me thru her smile. She then stand up and took her things and starts walking, "I'm going now." She said
"Wait, you're already leaving?" I asked.
"Yes, 'cuz surely anytime by now the next time your doorbell will ring, its not a delivery boy anymore. But the person who sent those." She stated and pointing naughtily to the flowers
"Hah? What made you said that?" I asked since I'm puzzled with what she means
She walked close to me and start tapping my head. "Ms. Jvee Reeze Blas" I look at her as she called my full name "Your house is showing me a big picture that you have a special someone visiting you." She said teasingly smiling to me which made me surprised and making me going all red for sure. She let out a small and short laugh which caught back my attention to her. "You are still my Cutest, Innocent and little Crazy Best Friend Jvee." What she said made me smile. This is really my best friend. I hugged her. Haaaii, how I missed her soo much! She hugged me back.
