Chapter One: You Are My Destiny

Hi guys! So here is my new story "The Misunderstanding Kiss" (I honestly don't know why that is the title but why not?) I hope you guys like it (and I hope I can multi-task XD).

Btw, this "[ ]" means text. Just in case of confusion :) I suggest you play this in the flashback part as well. Enjoy :D ~Nikki

(Alice’s POV)

*playing No No No as morning alarm*

Ahh! A bright sunny morning and it is a perfect time for dancing. I forgot to introduce myself, I’m Alice. I just love dancing and K-pop and I’m interested in piano.

Hmmm, what song should I play? How about this? It’s Mr Chu by Apink. As the song started to play, my body moved on its own like I was performing on-stage. My favorite part started playing, the chorus; I remember the time I danced this to him at the park to confess my feelings.

*playing Spellbound by TVXQ as ringtone*

Speaking for him, there he is. Drake is my boyfriend for two years already. Why I love him? He is just understanding, mysterious but loving. He can also be a troll sometimes; he is also gentle and kind too.

[Drake: Good morning, Taeyeon. Have you been dancing already in the morning?]

He called me Taeyeon because she was one of my favorite people. I wanted to successful as her in the future. But, I called him Chen because not only he was one of my favorite people as well, but also he can be a troll but caring and sweet like Drake.

[Me: Good morning, Chen. How did you know?]

Seriously, how did he know? Is he been stalking me lat-

[Drake: I’m outside of your house and I heard the song that reminds me the day you confessed to me so I know you are dancing.]

[Me: Hmp. You know me too well.]

[Drake: I was thinking that we can go to the park for a walk.]

[Me: I would love to. Just wait for me, arachi? (Understand?)]

[Drake: Araso! (Ok!)]

I took a quick shower and got ready to go to the park. I grabbed my wallet, phone and bag and I was ready to go.

“Drake, annyeong I miss you.” I hugged him. Ah! I missed him even we saw each other yesterday.

“We saw each other yesterday at school. Let’s go.”

“Yep.”

Once, we were at the park. We ate ice cream and played at the swing then we sat under the big tree where we first met.

*Flashback*

I was listening to my favorite music under a big tree. After few minutes, I decided to dance/practice for my class this afternoon. Suddenly, I heard a voice singing but his voice was really beautiful. I went behind a bush to take a closer look. He looked cute with his long eyelashes, high cheekbones and kitten-like smile. I tried to come a little closer but I tripped on a branch which made me injure my ankle.

“Hey! Are you ok?” He said as I kept holding on my ankle.

“Yeah, I’m fine. I think I can stand.” I tried to stand but I ended up limping.

“I think your foot said otherwise.” He laughed. His voice sounded beautiful like his singing voice.

We walked to the big tree, thanks to his support, and sat under there.

“My name is Drake by the way. What’s yours?” He introduced as he let out his hand to shake.

“Oh. I’m Alice. Nice to meet you, Drake” I said as I shook my hand with his.

*Dun dung dun dung*

Why is my heart beating fast? Have I fallen in love already in first sight? I felt my blood to my cheeks. Drake suddenly leaned close to my ear and I was shocked.

“You look kinda cute. Let us meet again sometime.” He whispered. I blushed bright red then I looked at my watch. It’s just 2:50. WHAT?! IT’S 2:50, I’M LATE!

“It’s nice meeting you and thanks for helping me. I have to get going. Bye” I quickly said, packed everything and biked all the way to class. I can’t be late or my punctual record will be perished.

 

~Fast Forward~

Class was finally over and I got to learn more steps. I was going to get my water but instead I found a note from Drake, it said that he want to know me more and he placed his phone number too. I was so happy, it was best day ever. It was destiny that I fell to the branch.
