Chapter Five: I Knew You're Here

(Alice's POV)

“I knew you're here.” An anonymous male voice said. I turned around and it was Blake.

“Sup! How did you know I was here?” I asked. Seriously, how? Was he stalking m-

“I always see you going to the rooftop when you are in a bad mood.” How did he know that-

“I’m your seatmate. Remember?” He answered my question that was in my mind.

“Yeah.” I mumbled. I worked really hard all week. Didn’t I do enough?

“Hey there, don’t cry. By the way, you did really great at the auditions.” He said and I didn’t realize that I cried. He lifted my chin to face him so he can wipe my tears with his thumb.

“I wondered why you didn’t pass the audition as well.” I asked as I looked back to the view

“Oh! I was starting to learn jazz that’s why I didn’t make it” He admitted and looked at the view, as well.

“Don’t worry, there is always next time. I’m sure we can both make it” He continued.

“Yeah. Next time…” I smiled a little as I faced him

He suddenly grabbed my chin with his thumb and started to lean forward but I started to back away then the bell rang.

“We gotta get going or we’ll be late. See you at the classroom.” I said and ran my way to the classroom. Yay! Math is next, my favorite subject. Equations, prepare to be solved.

(Blake’s POV)

Man! That was awkward and the worst thing was that I almost kissed her. I ALMOST KISSED HER. What was I thinking?! Again, she has a boyfriend and you must move on. Ok! How did I fall in love with her, you ask? Then… it’s story time.

There was one time (before they started dating) that we used to be paired as dance partners in our PE class. She wasn’t the best dancer that time but she did great and tried hard. But that’s when my heart skipped a beat by a bit.

There was another time that we were main characters in a play and she did well. When she was supposed to act in love then she did it like she is in love. But the time I was supposed to confess to her but it was too late, my heart broke when I saw Alice and Drake kissing under the big tree in the park.

Ow! What the hell?! I must have spaced out like walking to class. Well… good luck to me for moving on then.
