Chapter Seven: Jealousy At Practice

 (Drake’s POV)

~Three days later~

After that surprising event, we, contestants, were starting to rehearse for the show. We had practices Thursdays and Saturdays for two weeks and the main performance was on Monday after those two weeks. We were about to start our rehearsal and most of us were just warming up; I was doing my vocalization warm-ups while I watched Blake and Alice exercising for their dance.

The first practice had officially started and everyone did well. My name was called for the rehearsal then I sang my chosen song. With all my heart, I sang and made eye contact with Alice then she blushed. Aww! My girlfriend was so cute. After the practice, Alice cheered for me. I was really glad she liked it.

Next up was Alice and Blake. After that, we were going to have a second round of rehearsal. Their chosen song started to play. I got to admit, my girlfriend looked cool dancing. She usually danced to cute songs but that was a big image change for her. I was really immersed to her performance like when Alice was immersed with mine. We had made eye contact again but this time she winked at me. I felt I was about to squeal like a fanboy. At the end of the performance, she was supposed to walk away but Blake grabbed her wrist and hugged her. WHAT?! Ok that’s it!

Alice went down the stage and she knew what I was going to say.

“I know what you are thinking. Don’t worry, it is part of the choreography” She said. I looked in to her eyes if it was true and it was.

“Damn. You just shocked me. You are the best actress.” I said as I chuckled.

We now started round two on rehearsals and after that we went home.

~Two weeks and three days later~

I practiced hard these last few days but I couldn’t let my heart take it. I always practiced at the park under that same big tree but I always sawAlice and Blake practicing. It made me jealous. I could be Alice’s partner even I was not the best dancer but as long as he doesn’t touch my girl, he can still live. Argh! Just one more day, Drake. It will be all over by tomorrow.
