Bailey's p.o.v
"Welcome to Seabrook High School!" Principal Lee said to me as me and my dad walked up to the school. I took my headphones off, the school fight song still playing through them. I paused the music on my phone and smiled at the principal. She shook hands with me and dad.
"I'm your principal, and this is where you will be going to school at." She said. I noticed zombies on the other side of the fence. I raised an eyebrow. I pulled out my video camera and started recording.
"Where do they go?" I asked. She flinched slightly.
"Yes. They do share the same classes as us humans, but after recent events they have been moved to the other side of the school. No longer allowed to participate in sports." She answered.
"What events?" I asked. My dad nudged me.
"Let's not question things, B." He said. I shrugged my shoulders and nodded my head. I heard a voice whisper.
"I can't believe the zombies did that to Addison. After all she did to help them have equal rights!" A voice said. I saw a group walk by with two boys and two girls. I video recorded them. We finally walked into the school. The principal talked about the usual and I didn't pay much attention to it. Suddenly I heard an alarm and a voice yell.
"FIRE!"
"BONZO!!" Two voices yelled. I saw a large zombie running down the hall. My eyes widened. I grabbed a trash can and put it in front of me. The zombie ran into it and paused. He looked at me.
"No fire. There's no fire." I said. The zombie looked relieved. Two other zombies ran over.
"Bonzo!" A voice said. I saw a zombie who was a few inches taller than me. He had short green hair and was wearing a purple and black outfit.
"Eliza I told you to make sure he doesn't act out! You all are very close to being banned." The principal snapped at them. I gulped.
"It's my fault miss. I had my camera out and he probably saw the red light on it when I pressed record." I said quickly. The zombies looked at me. The principal coughed lightly.
"Very well then. Let's just be careful around them." She told me. Dad turned to me.
"Hey B, I'm gonna finish the tour with her. You go ahead and get to know some people. Preferably people who are technically still alive." Dad told me. I nodded my head. I turned back to the zombies I had met.
"I'm Zed." The short haired one introduced himself.
"I'm eliza." The girl told me. The strong one pulled me into a bear hug. I chuckled.
"Bonzo! I be Bonzo!" He introduced himself happily. I smiled.
"Random question, can I ask about what happened recently. Why did the zombies get banned from being in sports?" I asked. I saw Zed stare at his feet for a few seconds. Eliza sighed.
"It's personal. And Zed probably doesn't wanna talk-" eliza got cut off by Zed speaking.
"My human girlfriend Addison accidentally got her memory swiped by Eliza's gadget when Bonzo accidentally hit it with a football." Zed answered. My eyes widened.
"Wait, she doesn't remember anything?" I gasped. Zed shook his head. I turned the camera off.
"That's horrible!" I stated. Zed nodded his head.
"Hey, we were just heading to lunch. Wanna come?" Zed asked. I smiled.
"Sure, as long as you promise that I won't be the main meal." I teased. Eliza rolled her eyes trying not to laugh. Bonzo howled in laughter. Zed snickered. I walked with them to the cafeteria. I saw everyone giving Zed, Bonzo, and Eliza looks. I got annoyed by it. I held my hands out."Take a picture people! It'll last longer! Don't you all have your own lives to worry about?" I pronounced, making people look away. I followed the rest of the zombies to the table they were sitting at. I sat down across from Eliza.
"Man, people here are saltier than the pretzels at Auntie Anne's." I mumbled, causing Eliza to almost choke on her food.
"You got that right. But, can you blame them? We caused Addison to convince everyone to accept us, and now that she has, we go and swipe her memory." Zed replied sadly, taking a bite of his potatoes. Eliza rolled her eyes, setting her fork down.
"Okay, 1) You convinced her to try and get everyone to accept us. And 2) The memory swipe was an accident." Eliza retorted, making Zed shake his head.
"It still screwed up our chances of being accepted." Zed mumbled. Bonzo poked my camera.
"What that do?" He asked, biting a piece out of the apple in his hand. I chuckled, holding it up.
