Heron was shivering from the cold when two other cats came near. She heard them talking but it was muffled by the ringing in her ears.
She felt her tiny frame being lifted by a young she cat. She yowled in surprise and kicked at the cat. The cat squealed and dropped her. Heron ran away, but the constant blackness infront of her caused her to tun right into a tree.
