Asteroids Part I

-Lianna-

"Drom," I began quietly as Nate's butler drove us to Midway.

She was in the far left seat, messing with her boyfriend's twin's hair.

"Your hair is growing, you should put one of your bandanas in," she was saying. "Your hair looks sexy pushed back."

"Don't feel like it," he said lightly, flicking me on the thigh. I groaned and crossed my legs.

She pushed herself forward to me, looking ecstatic."Li, doesn't his hair look sexy pushed back?" my sister giggled. I rolled my eyes at the quote.

"Drom," I repeated through gritted teeth.

"I'm so infinitely happy right now," she sighed retreating backwards, looking out of her window.

"Drommie," I commanded, growing a little restless and using a drastic measure. I hate emotions.

My sister side-eyed me from her window and furrowed her brows in a worried expression.

"What's up?" She mouthed.

"Lianna," Nate snapped.

I jumped a bit in my seat.

"What?" I hissed.

"You can't let Andromeda know our little secret. Remember who Nate is friends with at college?"

I felt my eyes flare and grow narrow. My scholarship.

"You have something planned?" Andromeda's entire demeanor changed and she glowed at Nate.

"Something bigger than you can ever imagine," he mumbled.

My sister blushed and I fell on one of Nate's rucksacks. I wished I never met him at that damn party. I hate myself for it. Doesn't he think he's a pedo or anything?

---

"You hungry?" Nate asked, the butler pulling into Midway. I smiled to myself. He didn't know about her relapse. C'mon Drom, catch him.

"No," Andromeda answered quickly, shifting uncomfortably. Drom, open your eyes!

"Me either," Nate quickly saved himself.

"We have time, though." He smiled at her. She kissed him on the cheek and I felt like throwing up.

---

Once more in Bournville. Nate lives in Edgbaton, so he's not far, hooray. He didn't bother to wait with us in proper lighting in the airport, he quickly left and we soon spotted our cousin. I have nothing against Birmingham, in fact I quite miss it. And to be honest, I am very excited to start studying with college, seeing as I am still a year away.

Andromeda and I easily reached Hannah and Halia's house, the only women still in England in our family and equally as wealthy, it was the same as always. Except we're living in hell now.

Halia answered, the saner of the two. She's a woman of about thirty and has never been married because Hannah is her master. Halia has the Arquette blue eyes and chocolate brown hair with Chinese bangs. She giddily opened the door.

"Hi girls! Oh, Andromeda, look at you! I'll get your bags!" She bounded into the street, talking a mile a minute.

"Lianna, Bournville College contacted us! You're all set to go! Andromeda, have you thought of a college or Uni? I think South Birmingham or Birmingham City would be great choices!"

Andromeda airily laughed and shrugged. Her phone started ringing from her bag.

-Andromeda-

Lianna's phone started blaring the same minute mine did. How strange. Halia started rushing our bags in and we answered our phones.

For Lianna, it was our parents.

"Hello?" I said, not checking the caller ID.

"Andromeda," Harry said harshly.

"Oh hey, babe! You home yet?" I asked, feeling myself blush.

"Andromeda, you need to listen to me. I'm still in-" the line went dead.

My stomach dropped. That was really weird. What's going on?

I shrugged, going inside my new home for a while. I may be back in Birmingham, but I feel that things will be different for me now. What happened next hit me like an asteroid.

Note: I'm American, I've lived in Chicago my whole life, so I know absolutely nothing about England! I did a lot of research, and I hope I gave Birmingham some justice and didn't sound completely dumb, that's my biggest fear. Thank you for the votes and comments, they make my day (:
