(Obviously every group needs a bi person too but you didn't know who that was, though your bets were definitely on Lilly)

Your name was (y/n) (l/n), and you lived in the apartment across from Ted and Marshall.
Even though you hung out at their apartment most of the time, in all honesty all you did at your apartment was to sleep.

Actually not even that sometimes. It made you wonder why you even had an apartment.

You would get up in the morning, get dressed, then walk right over to their apartment and eat breakfast.
Last thing in the night before everybody went to bed, that's when you went home to sleep. You even had an extra toothbrush over at their apartment.

And right now you were, Yeah you guessed it, over at Ted and Marshall's apartment.
Marshall was practicing his marriage proposal to Lily on Ted, which was cute.

It made you think of how you wanted to get married one day, especially to a guy. Not to Ted or Marshall though, you're only attracted to attractive guys, what uuuuup *self five*.

You might've been hanging out with Barney too much lately, you couldn't help it. He was a fun guy.
Except from the fact that he was acting like a gay guy attempting to be straight. You know, how they act over masculine?
The problem was that he actually was like that, and not acting.

Back to the story.
"-yes and then you're engaged! You pop the champagne! You have sex on the kitchen floor- please don't have sex on the kitchen floor."
Ted exclaimed happily as Marshall stood up, from just being on his knees.

(Y/n) nodded and stood up, "you're gonna nail this dude! You have my permission to have sex on the kitchen floor."
He grinned at Marshall.

Marshall nodded excitedly. "Thank you guys so much for the help.

"Dude are you kidding? It's you and Lilly! We've been there for all the moments with you and Lilly! Like.. all of them. "
He said as they both walked into the kitchen, grabbing a beer.

(Y/n) nodded.
"I was your neighbor and even I was there for it. You know your bed hit the wall right?"
He said and leaned to the counter/bar/thing.

Marshall laughed slightly.
"Yeah sorry, we thought you were asleep.. "
He explained sheepishly.

"It's physics Marshall, if the bottom bunk moves then so does the top bunk. "
Ted explained and demonstrated with his hands.

(Y/n) nodded in agreement, walking into the kitchen and sitting on the counter.
He was by far the shortest of them all. Well not shorter than Lilly, but definitely shorter than Marshall (duh).

"My god.."
Ted said and took a couple of steps forward.
"you're getting engaged tonight. " he said, almost in disbelief. Like a proud father talking to his son.

Marshall nodded.
"Yeah, what are you doing tonight?"
He grinned jokingly.

(Y/n) chuckled.

After a while of pondering, Ted decided to call up Barney. Whatever he was doing with Barney, (y/n) wanted in. Anything Barney did, always turned to be an adventure.

So he called him up, and from the look on Teds face, Barney was talking about girls again.

(Y/n) tilted his head.
"still being extremely straight?"
He asked silently.
Ted nodded, sighing.
