As Maleficient rushed to the entrance of her Kingdom, the three little fairies wondered if they did the right thing by telling her . When she reached there she asked the guardians (who actually were big creatures of roots) where that person was, the guardians said he's hiding in the trees and he wouldn't come out.
Maleficient said firmly,
"Whoever u are, please come out."
She heard a voice from the trees. It looked like he was a small boy of his age. The boy said "I'm afraid that those ugly monsters would kill me "
Maleficient said a bit in anger, " Hey! they aren't ugly." she said sweetly with her beautiful smile looking at the rooty creatures "hey don't worry ur not ugly. You both are completely handsome! " She loved every creature even though they actually looked creepy sometimes .
And then she said to the boy "Come out, don't be afraid. We don't kill people". Shyly the boy came in front of the three (creatures and maleficient). The boy looked poor and wore torn clothes.
He had bright blue eyes, brown hair and a soft voice. Maleficient looked at him and said " My name is Maleficient. You have to me back what you took."
The boy didn't say a word and gave maleficient what he stole.He had stolen just a stone which maleficient put it back in the pond. Then she took him out of the jungle to the place of humans so that the boy wouldn't get lost.
As they were going back, maleficient asked him his name. The boy's name was Stephen. They talked about each others life. Stephen told her tht he was an orphan and he lived alone in his farm.
When the reached at the end of the magical Kingdom, Stephen asked Maleficient, " If I come here again, would I see u here?". Feeling shy, Maleficient smiled and said, " Probably "
Then Stephen took his hand forward gesturing a handshake and Maleficient did the same.But as soon as their hands touched, Maleficient took her hand away and screamed "Ouch!". Stephen got anxious and asked what happened, and Maleficient said " Iron burns fairies ". Stephen had wore an iron ring in his right hand and as soon as she said it, he removed his ring and through away saying sorry.
