Hastily, I threw on the grey tracksuit that they gave me and waited by my door whilst rapidly tapping my foot - it's something I do when I'm scared. Like they said, about 20 minutes later a guard came and escorted out of my room, but I was not alone. For the first time I saw outside of my room to find a row of thousands of cells like mine each with a person being lead out in unison. All of them were under the age of 18 and all of them looked as scared as me.

We were taken to a gigantic hall that looked almost as if it was placed here by accident as it was anything but what I hadlived in. The walls were coated in a luscious maroon paint and was surrounded by a intricately detailed golden border. There was several arched windows tinted baby blue and surrounded by a very much similar border to the walls. My eyes widened in ore and then focussed on the stage before me where a man emerged. Well I assume it was a man but it was difficult to tell. His hair was of a a tangerine orange and his face was covered with the most elaborate golden makeup, not to mention his clothes. His velvet, lavender jacket draped across the floor and his waistcoat and trousers were of a matching mahogany colour; the brightness was nearly blinding. With an authoritive manor he protruded across the stage and prepared to speak:
'I am king Limauracus and you are on the most sacred soil of all for you are on Oclimpisa. Before we continue, I must apologise for any inconveniences that we have put you through but the only way for our marvellous species to expand was if we inhabited your planets. To think about it, you should feel privileged for these circumstances as it brought you here. Of course, there was the small expense of the far older and younger generations of your people but really there is no purpose to your frail species so it is pointless to even keep you here. Anyway, me and my people are feeling especially generous so we have spared all of your lives ( for many years for some of you ) and now you have the chance to live a blissful life by simply playing a little game of mine.'
The curtain behind him drops to unravel a large brass spinner in a cage with hundred of holes in all of the walls.
'See there is one thing our people is lacking: entertainment, and you can solve that problem by just spinning that dial. Each section leads to a surprise and some of you may even get to live a normal life, some of you. See we can't let all of you live as our species is so large as it is so some of the surprises may not be overly pleasant but shall luck be on your side!'

My hands tensed with fury, this malevolent, cunning and egocentric dictator took our family, homes and now he wanted us to contribute to his games of torture. Just as I was  processing my thoughts, many soldiers merged inwards, forcing us into a line. Thousands of petrified children surrounded me and right at the front one enters the cage. Their quivering arm spins the dial until it comes to a dead stop, then we wait. Suddenly, a murky green fog enters the cage and the child screams out for help. I can barley look. Slowly the fog enveloped the child and she suffocates before dropping to the ground, pale and lifeless. I gulped, this is it.
