"I love your enthusiasm, Mr. Hood," Ms. Jones replied sarcastically.
He smirked, "I know you do."
I rolled my eyes, "you're annoying."
"Annoyingly handsome."
"You wish."
"I bet that's your wish."
I smirked, "oh yea if I had three wishes that would be my top choice."
His eyes widened, "really?"
I laughed, "hell no."
Lindsey Beckett, the dance team captain smirked, "I'm always available."
He scoffed, "I'm not interested in slutty bitches."
Lindsey gasped and I stiffled a laugh.
Her gaze shifted to me, "don't you dare laugh, you little whore!"
"Me? I'm not the one who flirted with Nathan all through math."
"Oh he totally enjoyed it."
I batted my eyelashes innocently, "is that why he flirted with Robyn Bennet at the party?"
Luke chimed in, "yea I heard that he kissed her and they were going out on Friday."
Lindsey glared at him, "shut up."
"Nah, I'm good."
Ms. Hood interrupted us, Thank God!, "do you mind shutting your mouths?"
Luke looked at her, "yes I do."
"Well do it anyway."
Lindsey gave us one last glare and flipped her blonde hair over her shoulder; turning around.
"Bitch," I muttered.
Luke laughed.
"Okay class, we have a project due on Friday and you need a partner."
Everyone started packing up their stuff just as the bell rang.
"Class dimissed!"

I was stuffing my chemistry book in my locker when Colton tapped on my shoulder.
"Ugh! What do you want?" I huffed in frustration.
"To be your partner for chemistry."
I had to think fast about this, "I already have a partner."
He arched an eyebrow, "really, who?"
"Luke," I lied.
"Oh okay," wow he actually bought it!
Now the hard part, asking Luke.

"Hey, Luke....?"
"Yea?" He asked, turning to me.
"Will you be my partner for chemistry?"
He raised an eyebrow in surprise, "sure."
"Thanks," I started to walk away.
"Is it a date?" He called after me.
"No, its an assignment."
"Awe too bad princess!"
I rolled my eyes and turned the corner; bumping into the boy I always want to see but not right now if he heard Luke.
He caught me before I fell, "what the fuck was that about?"
"An assignment."
"Does he think that?"
"I don't know," I admitted to those captivating chocolate brown eyes.
"Why did you do it?"
"To make an excuse for Colton."
"Next time, just let me punch him."
"Sure, Jaxass."
He chuckled, "thanks Emmy bear."
I tugged on his hand, pulling him to lunch.
"I'm coming, you don't have to force me."
I giggled, "you're such a baby."
"Damn, why are you sarcastic as hell at one point and innocent the next?"
I smiled deviously, "I'm a complicated girl."
"Fuck, I love you."
I smirked, "I love me too."

"Fuck, they are all out of salad!" I groaned.
Zac shrugged, "you can have mine."
I shook my head, "I'm good."
Jax handed over his salad and my eyes lit up, "thank you!!"
Zac rolled his eyes, "why is his salad any different than mine?"
"He actually pays for his and its amazing," I pressed.
Jax chuckled, "you're so cute Emmy bear."
"I know baby, I know."
"Why is my girlfriend so cocky?"
A smirk was playing on Landon's lips, "that's why she's perfect for you."
I giggled and Jax glared at me.
Lindsey stalked up to me with the whole dance team behind her, "listen here you little whore!-"
Jax laughed, "are you looking in the mirror?"
She gawked at him, "No! I'm talking to your hoe."
Zac spoke up, "its called a girlfriend but I forgot you don't know that because you can't get anyone to date you."
I fist bumped Zac and he smirked.
One of Lindsey's minions rolled her eyes, "you guys are so dumb, the dance team would totally date her."
I smirked, "who? You?"
"No!" She tried to defend herself.
The guys and I erupted in laughter.
Robyn smirked, "you think you're so cool Paisley but you're not."
Robyn was one of those people who was super popular but didn't hang out with the snobs.
Lindsey scoffed, "fine keep all your guys but keep in mind that you will forever be known as a whore!"
I winked at Jax and he stuck out his Van and she tripped; the whole dance team thought it was a move and they purposely fell.
A smirk was playing on my lips, "oops Lindsey, the floor is there."
She glared at me and stomped out of the cafeteria.

I was finishing my essay on politics for social studies when there was a knock at the door.
"Trevor?"
"Hey I'm here because dad is drunk and I didn't know where else to go."
"Oh, come in."
He thanked me and sat on the couch, "nice place."
"Its the White House dufas."
"Yea I know, I had to get past like thirty five body guards."
I laughed, "how did you get them to finally let you in?"
"I said I was your sister's boyfriend."
"How did you know I had a sister?"
"I didn't but I took a lucky guess."
My sister pounded down the stairs, "ugh! Xavier is such a bitch!"
Her eyes widened when she saw Trevor, "fuck," she muttered.
Trevor arched an eyebrow.
His blonde hair was swept on one side and you could see his midnight blue eyes perfectly.
He leaned over and whispered in my ear, "why is she looking at me like that?"
"She thinks you're hot."
He chuckled, "how old is she?"
"Twenty."
"Hmm, she's not my type."
"Trevor Bennet has a type?"
He nodded, "yea and her name is Claire." My eyes widened, "wait, you like Claire?"
"I knew her since we were little."
"Wow I didn't know that."
"Only Jax knows that I like her."
"Does she like you back?"
He shrugged, "I don't know."
"Then its good we're friends!"
He laughed, "okay."
I reached for my phone and sent Jax a message.
Hey, Trevor is here and get this, Jaqueyln likes him!😏😅
