Chapter 25

Jax
I groaned, "I fucking hate you! Don't ever talk to me again!"
Colton rolled his eyes, "you're not the one I want to talk to."
I gritted my teeth, "she doesn't see you like that."
"She will."
"Hell no she won't, she has a damn boyfriend!"
"Nah.....!"
"Can you just get over your cocky self?!"
He narrowed his eyes and connected his fist with my face.
At first I was surprised but I quickly recovered; I pinned him to the wall and threw my fist at his face.
Fire appeared in my eyes when he tried to hit me again but I grabbed his fist.
"What the hell?!" Jonas yelled at us.
I forgot he lived near Colton.
Jonas crossed his arms, "care to explain?"
I released Colton from my hold.
Colton glared at me, "he came over and screamed at me."
"You were flirting with my damn girlfriend!"
"I just asked her to be my chemistry partner."
"You threw the first punch!"
Jonas huffed, "can you people stop!"
Colton and I glared at each other.
Jonas tapped his foot impatiently, "you should go home Jax."
I didn't argue, Jonas was usually pretty calm so when he was like this it was never good.

I hopped on motorcycle and sped off to my house. My dad was home but Xavier was no where in sight, "where's Xavier?"
"He went out a couple of hours ago," he explained with a blank expression.
"Probably to mom's," I muttered under my breath.
He didn't answer but his eyes darkened.
I know he hated mom, he always did and I'm ashamed to call her mom.
"What about Juilet?"
"She's with Xavier."
"Why?!"
My anger was rising and my jaw was tense.
"He took her to see your mom," he didn't seem the least bit phase by my anger and I was wondering why, most of the time we would get into a heated argument when he was like this.
"I'll be in my room."
He gave a slight nod and I ran upstairs to my room.
Sitting on the edge of my bed, I grabbed my phone but before I could text Emmy, a message dinged from her.
Emmy bear: Hey, Trevor is here and get this, Jaqueyln likes him!😏😅
Why the fuck is he here?!
Emmy bear: Is that all you read?
I read hey too.

I clenched my fist, how dare he come over there to her house! Fearful thoughts crept into my mind. What if he tries to steal her like he did all the other girls I called mine but damn was I wrong, I didn't love them at all hell I didn't care about them at all and I'll be damned if he takes her from me.
"I'll be back dad!" I called down to him.
"Sure whatever!"
I opened my window and jumped down; landing on my feet.
Hopping on my motorcycle again, I rode to her house and threw my helmet on her porch.
I didn't feel like knocking on the door so I climbed up the White House and entered through the window.
"Hey, Jaqueyln," I whispered when I came in.
"Why are we whispering?" She sneered.
"I just came through the damn window why else would you think we're whispering?"
"She's in the living room."
I gave her a nod and sneaked down the stairs to scare Emmy bear.
"Hey Emmy bear."
She jumped and put a hand over her heart, "baby you scared me."
A smirk crossed my lips, "that was the point."
Trevor glanced at me and.... smiled?
"Hey bro," he grinned and pulled me in for a bro hug.
To say I was confused as hell would be an understandment.
I arched an eyebrow, "Hey?"
Emmy jumped on my back and giggled, "ride!"
"What?!"
"I want to ride!"
I groaned and held her legs, "where to?"
"The coffee shop, I'm hungry."
I rolled my eyes, "okay Emmy bear."

"I'll take a mocha," I grinned.
Yes, she was still on my shoulders and the girl at the counter was staring at me.
"I want a cookie and a chocolate mocha," Emmy bear glared at her.
Trevor just shrugged, "I'll take some black coffee and cake balls."
The girl gave us our food and gave me a flirty wink; I just rolled my eyes.
I sat Emmy bear on my lap and Trevor sat on the side opposite of me, laughing at something on his phone, "what are you laughing at?"
I smirked and he just shrugged casually, "a meme."
Emmy bear giggled, "what are you giggling at," I interrogated.
She bit her lip, "nothing."
I took her cookie and smirked, "really?"
"Hey! Give it back!"
I shook my head and stuck my tongue out at her.
She played with my hair; causing my heart beat to quicken.
Trevor stiffles a laugh and surprisedly I actually feel like he's my friend again.
We always were really close so its no surprise that my mom liked his dad but I was so not okay with it.

Princess: awe they're so cute!!
Haha I know.
Princess: are you okay?
Yea I'm fine. I guess my dad getting drunk and me going over to Emmy's made me realize how much of a jerk I've been to Jax.
Princess: I still don't like the idea of you going to Emmy's😒

Princess: no.....

Princess: no you are😘
I looked behind me and saw Jax smirking, "what are you up to?"
I quickly pressed the home button, "nothing."
"Mmm sure," he grinned michevously.
"Stop interrogating me," I slumped lower in my seat.
His smirk grew, "is Trevor nervous?"
"No."
He chuckled, "you totally are."
"Fine," I grumbled, "I'm afraid I'll lose her when she meets the jerk that I really am."
"Probably."
I glared at him, "shut up and at least try to make me feel better!"
Emmy wrapped her arms around my torso, "she likes you for you Trevor, I know she does."
Jax's eyes darkened at her touching me and I smirked, "jealous?"
"Damn right," he muttered.
Emmy reached up and kissed his lips; I took a picture, "awe you poor baby," she cooed.
I erupted in laughter, earning a glare from my best friend (I think he is at least)
I held my hands up in surrender, "sorry I just had to."
He rolled his eyes, "fuck no you didn't."
I chuckled, "there's the Jax I know."
Fornuately, I earned a grin from him.
