I sat up my heart racing,I held my hand against my chest trying to calm it down.I hate these nightmares there all the same,all of them,about the day I woke up.I stood up and grabbed my cloak.it's easy to hide from humans there clueless since I'm hardly recognisable now,I really have changed... .I put my cloak on and snatched my sword from it's spot against a tree and headed out "so which way should we go ?" I said to nobody in particular "head south" a tiny voice squeaked I looked to my side to see ,sitting on a branch was an owl squirrel.
"Alright little guy" I responded and walked that way I walked a couple miles before I heard footsteps behind me "so I finally found my trespasser" the deep voice spoke "I stayed here for night,ok forest guardian" he chuckled "don't take that tone with me west"I turned round and saw him non human creatures always know who I am "alright alright" ugh I hate doing this but to protect myself I must I quickly drew my sword "I don't think-" before he finished speaking I took a light hit with my sword to his head.he was temporarily blinded.I ran as quickly as I could (which was fast).I reached the edge of the forest,I looked back, "I hope I don't have to go in there again" I chuckled at my own words "right south it is " I said as I began walking the my feet kicking up the pebels on the dusty road I was going to be traveling for a while
