"Wait, you two know each other?" Melanie asks.
"I saw her at the grocery store." Daniel says blushing and looking down.
"We bonded over watermelon." I say starring off into space. It's at this moment Corbyn and Christina burst through the door.
"Dani!" Christina yells running and tackling him.
"My turn!" I tell when they stand up.
I run and tackle Daniel somehow bringing Christina and Melanie down with me. Christina grabs onto Corbyn at the last second so he ends up on the floor too. For some reason the rest of the boys think this is a game or something because the rest of them jump on top of us leaving Watermelon Boy and I at the very bottom. I manage to wiggle my way out and I pull Daniel out from the bottom too. I pull him out the hotel door.
"What are we doing?" Daniel asks.
"We're going on an adventure." I tell him.
"Why?" He asks.
"I don't know, I feel like it." I reply.
"Alright." He says as we get into the elevator.
"So how long do you think it will take for them to notice we're gone?" I ask while the elevator makes its way down to the lobby.
"I give them an hour." He responds.
"I bet they don't realize at all." I challenge.
"Where are we going?" Daniel asks.
"Wherever our feet take us." I tell him as the elevator doors open and I grab his hand running across the lobby earning disapproving looks from the workers. I ignore them and Daniel and I reach the outside world. I drop his hand missing the warmth but I ignore that and start skipping along next to him. I wonder what the rest of the day will bring...
