"No." I say.
"WHY NOT?" Melanie asks.
"NO I'M NOT GONNA WEAR A DRESS!" I shout at her.
"BUT YOU HAVE TO WEAR A DRESS ITS A WEDDING!" She screams back.
"IM NOT WEARING A DRESS BITCH!" I yell starting to run away.
"BACKUP!" Melanie yells and suddenly there is a wall of seven people surrounding me.
"You'll never take me alive." I tell them before using the chair right next to me to help catapult myself over Zach's head and onto the couch before running off.
"HOW'D SHE DO THAT?" I hear Christina yell. I'm almost at the door when I realize something and turn around.
"WAIT! How'd you get in my apartment?" I ask everyone. They pause all pause for a moment giving me time to escape without them noticing. "FREEDOM!" I yell when I'm halfway down the hallway before getting tackled to the ground.
"You are wearing a dress to the wedding." Melanie says from on top of me.
"WHY? Fancy dresses are uncomfortable." I complain.
"Well your brother is getting married we have to go to the wedding." She responds.
"It's gonna be so boring." I complain more.
"Christina and I will be there." Melanie responds.
"With Zach and Corbyn. Imma be a single little pringle." I retort.
"Why Don't you bring a date? You've got a plus one." She suggests.
"In case you haven't noticed, I don't have a boyfriend." I tell her.
"So bring one of the guys." Melanie says pulling me up from the floor.
"What?" I ask. Does she really want me to bring one of the Daniel? One of the guys. I meant one of the guys.
"DANIEL!" Melanie yells. "CAN YOU COME HERE FOR A SECOND?" WHAT THE FRENCH FRIES? She couldn't be.
"How may I be of service today?" Daniel asks walking into the room eating a banana.
"Where did you get a banana? I don't have any bananas here." I ask him. He simply shrugs. "Well that's helpful."
"Daniel you're going to Kate's brothers wedding with Kate, Christina, Zach, Corbyn and best of all, me." Melanie says.
"Ok..." he says a little confused.
Time skip to the wedding reception
"Congratulations!" I yell hugging my brother Carson and his new wife.
"Thanks Kate." He replies. "By the way, that guy you brought."
"What about him?" I ask.
"He's a keeper." He tells me.
"Oh, we're just friends." I tell him. But I can't help think, for now.
"Are you sure?" He asks.
"I'm sure." I tell him. "Now go dance with your wife." He walks off and I feel someone tap on my shoulder. It's Daniel. As soon as I turn around he does an awkward and joking bow.
"May I have this dance?" He asks.
