"Hm, I'm surprised that you forced yourself out from your bed to do what I requested." I said looking at her back.

We walked down the stairs.

"But next time can you fix yourself first before going out?" I said with a wry smile.

"Yeah sure." She said, a little irritated. "I did this to see you off. I didn't get to see you yesterday." She said when she stepped on the last step of the stairs. She then looked at me behind her shoulder. "Afterall, a wife is supposed to be there for her husband when he's going to work, right?" She smiled at me.

"Miss Nika, didn't I told you to fix yourself before going out of your room." Jerma, who just entered from the kitchen and saw us, said with an annoyed voice and expression.

"If I delay a little bit longer, honey will be late to school." She said, brows curved into a sad expression with her eyes pleading and mouth pouting.

"Next time please be more responsible." She sighed and went to place the plates on the table and then went back to the kitchen.

We sat on the chairs of the long circular table. Jerma came out of the kitchen holding a comb. She stood behind Nika and combed her hair. A strong brush stroked through her tangled hair. She squinted her eyes in pain. When her hair is easier to brush, Jerma brushed it gently and combed it into a ponytail.

"There." She said, wiping the sweat on her forehead.

"Thanks." Nika who has a cookie in her mouth said. She bit it and looked at her smiling.

Jerma sighed. I know what she is thinking, its about "please don't talk when you're eating". I get that a lot. She left, with comb in hand, she went back to the kitchen to fetch our breakfast.

"Morning guys." A cheery voice said behind us.

Nika and I both turned around to be greeted by a wide grin.

Gale sat beside Nika looking at us with a smile.

"Morning." Nika, whose mouth is full of cookies, greeted him back.

"Morning." I also picked a cookie from the plate and put it in my mouth. I then looked at him. After taking a bite, I chewed and swallowed the food to open my mouth to talk. "You looked cheery today?" I said, noticing his very good mood this early.

"Oh hey, future sis. Wow, you're up early. Well I'm glad you can join us this morning. Stella is still asleep at this time, her class is in the after noon. Afterall, she's just in kinder." He talked at the eating Nika with a cheery face, ignoring my question. A vein popped on my head.

"He's completely ignoring me." I thought glaring at him.

"Already noisy in the morning?" Jerma who's carrying three plates of different cuisine, went to place it on the table.

"Oh come on Jerma, you're going to ruin my mood here." Gale said, eyeing the maid.

"Sorry young master, but your mood is bright this morning." She said, still focused on placing the wares on the table.

"Oh well, we will have a pair activity today in Science and my partner is Aniya." He grinned widely saying her name.

Another vein popped on my head. "They're all ignoring me."

Nika, who noticed my irritation giggled beside me. I guess not all of them.

Most of the food arrived. The desserts will be served after breakfast because it's for last and they're still making it.
