The Pond Girl

CHAPTER 2

I quickly get up, head to the bathroom, brush my teeth, take a shower, wash my hair and head out. I put an effort to dry my tangled hair and wear my "work wears" and head downstairs, I quickly start my chores and in about an hour I finish all the chores. "Whew" I say and go to my room, I change into a T-shirt and jeans and wear a cap on my head.
   I wait a little and then I go downstairs and i rush to the bus stop. The drive to the school was not good with people giving me death glares. The bus stops and I get off ,I walk a little to reach the school and at the front gate I meet Natalie.
"Hey, I shouted for her to see me "
"Hello "she says happily
"you're almost late "she says
"sorry" I say and we walk into the school
        After      Exams
"the exam was not very difficult but I'm not sure I'll pass"I say.
"of course you will, plus I also think i won't pass, so we're even" Natalie says
"geez, way to make a person feel better, thanks "I say
"you're welcome "she smiles
"OK let's get going " I say
"OK "she replies
"and, call me immediately results comes out "
"ok"
We both head home
********time skip ******
  After the bus ride we separate and I go home alone.
  In the evening I hear my phone ringing and I  answer
"hello Natalie "
"hey brie the result was sent to me and guess what I PASSED!!!!! "she shouted ,I had to shift the phone from my ear because of the inpact of her shout
"haaaaaa" I shouted "I'm so happy for you "I say sincerely
"OK what of you, checked your email? "she asks
"I haven't checked yet "
"well what are you waiting for, go check it "she says
"ok" I say and hang up. I go to my email addresses and see a new one, I check it and brace myself to see the result.
"brace yourself Brie,youuuuu PASSED
I shout at the top of my lungs "
  The message read
Dear Ms Brie, you passed the scholarship exams and you have been granted admission into Western Gates highschool. We wish you good luck. Your classes start immediately on Monday. Thank you. 
                                     The management
I call Natalie and she picks up almost before it even rings.
"Hello, Brie did you pass? "
"No Nat i didn't pass" I prank her to hear what she says
"oh, I'm so sorry. You know what, forget about the scholarship we should keep going......"
I cut her off and scream "JUST KIDDING I PASSED!!!! "
"yay!!! "I'm soo happy now we get to be in the same school again "she says
"yay" I say
"so, you gotta tell your parents right? " she asks
"yeah I gotta" I answer
"and you know we gotta go shopping right "she asks
"yeah I do. "I answer yet again
"ok then I'll come over tomorrow "
"OK, will be waiting for you"i say
"byeee"she says and then hangs up
  After the phone call, I sit on my bed and think of my new school and if its going to be better than the public school or worse. I feel happy and I lie down to rest.
