Flynn. Still twisting and turning in her bed. The sheets tangled her left ankle in it making her uncomfortable due to the fact that it was a warm humid evening. Dreaming about the future her moans of pain and uncomfortness made her wake up suddenly. Looking around her he sighed in relief seeing as everything was still in place as she left it.

Her bedroom door creeked open. Smiling brightly her mom looked at her with Shiney bright eyes of ocean green and porsaline white teeth. "Goodmorning baby. Breakfast is ready down stairs when your up okay?"   At the thought of food Flynns' stomach started to rumble and out of haste she climbed onto the carpet and then. BAM! Face plant! Flynn lay on the floor. Ankle still twisted in the sheets. Moans of anger pain and sadness.  "Oh darling are you okay?" her mom asked trying not to burst our laughing. Groaning Flynn untangled herself and got up.

Adam looked up from the table and saw his foster sister - Flynn walking down the stairs.  "Hay that's my toast!" little Mike wined at Amy. Amy smiled evilly at her baby brother and took a big bite of the toast. Mike started crying just then Flynn picked him up "shhh I'll make you more toast don't stress"., There eyes met and Adam felt his heart beating a bit slower.  "You guys hurry up there's alot of stuff we need to do today!" Amy jumped up and grabbed her school bag "Yea I'm on my way." Adam stood up struggling to get the words which was stuck in his mind "Cutie" Flynn said pinching little Mike's cheeks. Flynn looked up straight into Adams eyes. "Grab his bag, and let's go" with that she turned around and walked out the house leaving Adam standing there with the school bags.

Flynn sat next to Adam and Mike in the back seats. While Amy and the mother were at the front. Amy was rambling about some boy at school while Mike was falling asleep on Flynns lap. Adam slightly moved his hand behind Flynns back resting it at the bottom between her and the seat. Flynn tensed up when this happened but she felt the tingling sensation her heart speeding up and her body almost numbing.  'He's making it harder to leave then it already is. Yet he's my brother. Well foster brother. We're not blood related. He's younger then I am with a full year!'

Snapping out of her thoughts she saw Adam and Amy get out of the car. It was Adams last year in high school and Amy's second last. "Hay darling are you okay?" her mom asked staring at her in the rear view mirror. "uhm Yea I'm fine I'm fine"   "Are you excited to post those documents today?" "Yes ofcaurse, can't wait".  Mean time Flynn wish it didn't have to be this way.

"Well that would be 12 sir" the redhead behind the counter said to the man who was in line before Flynn and her mom. The man eagerly searched his wallet for a few coins. Scratching his head he smiled at the redhead "uh it seems that I don't have". The redhead laughed and took her handbag from under the counter.

Flynn was irritated by now for the time people took at the post office. Glaring back she saw a whole question full of impatient people. There was a elderly lady, a mother trying to make her baby sleep and her little son being naughty. An business man talking on the phone and keep staring at his watch.    "Next!" the redhead called out.  Flynn felt her mom tuck on her arm. Stepping faward Flynn felt her throat closing up. Cleaning it she handed the envelope to the Redhead. Sighing as it was handed over. The Redhead read the title to whom it was posted. Giving a shakingly smile she looked at Flynn. "Army Headquarters?"    "Yes."

Adam took a deep draw of his cigarette while leaning against the wall. It was lunchtime. A deep frown between his emerald green eyes, wrinkle twitching at the couner of his mouth. "Ay man!" Johnny said beside him joining in on the smoking. "Hi" Adam greeted back. "What's going on in that mind?" Johnny asked curiously noticing that his best friend was obviously distracted. The words wanted to flood out of Adams mouth but he couldn't, somehow the view of Summer walking by made him swallow it. Summer was the total opposite of Flynn. Summer had the tanned skin, the curly hair which consisted of rainbow colors, the full pouty lips and the fashion which dressed her body perfectly.   Flynn on the other hand was just a typical girl. She was tall, curvy but well build. Had short brown hair and piercing blue eyes. Her nose was sharp but small. Her lips were uneven causing her lower lip to look more plump then it was. Her style was basic. Her chest was firm but small and that-  "Adam!" Adam snapped out of thought and stared at Johnny.

Flynn stared out the window at all of the trees passing by. Her mom was driving and in the silence she realised that there was something wrong with her daughter. "What's a matter Flynn?" Flynn looked over to her mom wanting to say something but her mind was rumbled with thoughts about the military and about Adam. Adam was the first boy to ever look at her. He was the first boy to give her a kiss on the cheek and the first boy who never saw her as 'odd'. How would she even explain that to her foster mom? Whom she took as her own mother. "Do you think I look like a boy?" She asked her mother.  Her mom frowned and gave her a strange look. "What makes you ask that?" "So it's a yes" "No! Why on earth would I think you look like a boy?" "Well because I'm tall and muscular yet curvy and have short basic brown hair?"

"Flynn does look like a boy." "No she doesn't". Adam said irritated. "Dude you wouldn't know because you're in love with her" "I'm not. She's my sister"  "Yea and I'm a virgin". "Are you?" Adam asked sarcasticly. "No!" Johnny answered.   Adam just looked back at the field in front of him and took the last draw of his cigarette. "Is it so bad admitting that you are in love with her? Your 'sister'?"  Adam felt his heart sank and Flynns' eyes flashed through his mind. "I'm not in love with her."   Johnny irritated that his best friend couldn't even be honest with him sighed. "Oh well" he said and turned to walk away. "You know I was 6 years old when she walked through the front gate with my parents." Johnny turned back around knowing that it's one of those rare moments where Adam spoke his heart out. "She was 7 at the time. She had this broken look inside her eyes. A blue bruise on her left cheek. A beautiful summer dress with little butterflies on and at that moment I know I liked her. As we grew older I woke up during the night times hearing her cries. Hearing her tell someone to go away but she never woke up during the nightmares. I used to go to her room and sat against her cupboard just incase she woke up and needed someone". Johnny was shocked. He never knew what it was of Flynn that kept Adam hooked. He never knew what Adam had to go through since he was 6, to fall in love with a girl no one wanted. No one loved and in return Adam loved her more then anyone else.
