We just got into the hockey place and me and Aaliyah go sit down on the bench and put our guards and skates on we both finish and head to the rink for practice
When we get there there's still little kids skating because practice was in 15 minutes so Aaliyah was first to break the silence
"So tell me about your self Liz"
Well I just moved here from New York as you know and I moved here because my mom got a new job and I'm an 17 year old only child what about you
"Well I'm Aaliyah obviously and I'm 17 I have a older brother named Shawn and I've lived here my whole life,practice it starting let's go"
And we both walk over to the ice while we keep talking I can tell Aaliyah is gonna be one of my closest friends
*skip hockey*
"So do you want to come over" Aaliyah says to me
"Sure let me just tell my mom"
"She said okay let's go"
We get into the car and start driving and it looks really familiar and I don't know when we pull into the drive way and We bring my equipment to my house say hi to my mom I get changed into jeans and a hoodie and walk back over to Aaliyah's
Once we get in the house Aaliyah yells up the stairs that we are back and a boy around our age comes running down the stairs he has brown hair is built and is really hot who I am guessing is Shawn,Shawn stops in the middle of the stairs and stares at me and I look down to the ground blushing I've always hated when people stare at me
"Shawn,Shawn,SHAWN" Aaliyah yells waving a hand in his face
"Yea,yea what's up"
"This is Liz" "you can see who she is obviously because you were starring her down"she mumbles underneath her breath
Shawn finished coming down the stairs and says "hi I'm shawn nice to meet you"as he shakes my hand
He has the most gorgeous brown eyes that you could get lost in
"GUYS" Aaliyah yells
"Can you quit the love fest and let us go upstairs"
We both look down blushing and he says
"Well I have to go to Brians if mom ask tell her I'm there bye"
"What was that" Aaliyah asked
"What was what" I asked confused
"You guys were just like starring at each other for like 2 minutes"
"Oh that"
"Yea that" she says mimicking me
"Umm I don't really know"
"Alright let's go upstairs"
"Okay"
