wasn't gonna upload but people asked me to so here i am
liz pov
i wake up from the sun peaking through the windows and grab my phone to check what time it is and i panic when i notice it's 6:00 i have my first day of school today and i can't be late i quickly take a shower and pick out my outfit. i grab my dark skinny jeans, my yellow tube top and my white vans and quickly put it on. i straighten my hair and run down the stairs i grab my back pack and an apple and quickly walk down to my bus stop. on my way i see shawn and aaliyah getting into what i'm guessing is shawn's car, a black four door jeep wrangler,and wave to aaliyah. she ask me to come over and shawn will drive me to school and i agree because i absolutely hate the bus. i gratefully get in the car while thanking her. shawn starts staring at me through the mirror as aaliyah swipes her hand in front of his face "SHAWN" she yelled loudly "what" shawn said confused "you're staring again" she whispers even though i can hear her "oh uh hi liz" shawn said
hey i say in response as he starts to pull out of the driveway
the car ride was filled with tension and awkwardness that seemed like it lasted a life time "we are here" shawn said to kick me out of my daze "oh thanks again" "no problem" aaliyah rolls her eyes and under her breath says finally and jumps out
"here liz give me your phone so i can put my number in" aaliyah says
she quickly puts the number in and text herself so she has the number
shawn suddenly jumps in and says he will take my number to incase aaliyah's phone dies.aaliyah gave him a death stare and he handed over his phone and i put it in again and texted myself "there" i said handing his phone back "alright i'll see you guys later" shawn said
"bye" we both said in unison "alright let's go get your schedule done" we slowly walk to the office since we are a little early "hi i was wondering if i could get my schedule i'm new here" i said
"of course is aaliyah gonna be your helper" "um yeah" i say after looking at aaliyah and her shaking her head yes "then i will make your schedule the same so you don't have trouble but you are gonna have to switch lunch and gym because those classes aren't open" "okay thank you"
we go to our classes and then split up when i have to go to lunch and aaliyah goes to gym "oh liz shawn is in this period just look for him he will help you out" "oh cool thanks"
i walk into the lunch room and shawn sees me and waves me over. i walk over to his table and say hi and he moves over and has me sit with him and his friends "hey guys this is liz she's new she's a junior" "hi" they all say as i say it back they go back to their regular conversations as shawn turns to me
"do you wanna go get lunch" he says
"yea let's go"
we walk up to the lunch line and both reach for the pizza at the same time and our hands touched and it was like everything around us stopped and we just looked at each other shawn then shook his head and gave me the pizza and got another slice we go back to the lunch table and eat our pizza when shawn was talking to his friends he put his hand on my thigh but when i looked at him he didn't look back did he not know his hand was there just to make sure i put my hand over his and he turned around and smiled at me as he interlocked our fingers.his huge hands were perfect for my small ones. this isn't wrong,right?he's just holding my hand and butterflies erupted in my stomach i ignored them as i tired not to smile to big when the bell rung shawn asked me my next class and i said gym he smiled and said he had that class to he let go of my hand and put his hands in his pockets we then separated and got changed for gym. we came into the gym and shawn came over to me and put his hand in the small of my back as he moved his thumb up and down.the gym teacher put us in pairs and me and shawn were together we were doing hockey and shawn was really good "you play" i ask in confusion "yea i love it aaliyah told me you play with her too" " yea i love it too" gym ended and we got re-changed and headed to the car because gym was our last period and aaliyah came out and said that she had to go to her friend makaylas house to do a project and she will head home at seven and told me i'm welcome to go home with shawn. since me and shawn have gotten closer today i agreed and got in the car we talked the whole way home and he asked me if i wanted to come inside and i did we went up to his room and he had a piano and a guitar and i was curious so i asked "you play" "yea a little"he said " can you play something for me" i ask "um sure" he quickly plays me a song and i don't think he noticed he was singing along but my jaw was on the ground "shawn you have an amazing voice wtf" he shyly looked down as he blushed "i mean i don't think so but thank you" i lifted his chin up with my fingers "shawn really you're amazing" thank you he said blushing we ended up watching a scary movie while laying on his bed and i kept tucking my head into his chest and soon i just stayed there shawn wrapped his arm around me as i laid on his chest and i slowly dozed off
