GABBY'S POV:

The ringing of my phone rang through my ears. I opened my eyes and was about to snooze my alarm though it wasn't an alarm.

Incoming call from, 'Kate'. What could Katy possibly want in...oh it''s 5PM.

"Hello." I answered inh a groggily voice.

"Gabby! There's a party at David's house and I'm not taking no for an answer! You've been so caught up in work and school that I haven't seen you in so long!"

"Kate, it's been two weeks..."

"Gabs, that's a long time to me. I'm picking you up at 6."

In all honestly, I don't know why Kate is bringing me to a party. She knows I never feel like hanging out after my break up with Stephen six months ago. I know six months is a long time to find a new guy but I'm not one of those girls to throw themselves at any guy that is hitting on a girl. I'm not really comfortable with trusting many guys becuase long story short, the day I was going to give my love to Stephen, I found out he had been sleeping with another girl because I've always rejected sleeping with him. I'm actually glad I didn't give him my love.

Well, ever since my breakup with Stephen my best friend Luke has always been there for me. He was there the night I found out about Stephens sleeping habits with another girl and he's the one of the few many guys I can actually trust. He left on tour three months ago and we do still communicate but he's always busy and he just hasn't told me when he was coming back.

Kate gave me an hour to get ready and I guess it gave me a lot of time to get ready. I had enough time to take a shower and it felt great. I let my brown hair down and I left it out wavy. I actually liked my brown wavy hair because it brought out my hazel eyes. I was pretty short for my age. I was 5'0. I know I'm short but that doesn't stop me from my goals. I wore a black tight dress that brought out my curves and I put on light makeup. You could say that I was ready to party.

When Kate picked me up, she was just telling me about her boyfriend Calum who was Luke's best mate. Kate told me how they were official and how happy she was with him. She was also telling me how long distance was hard but she could do it if it meant being with Calum. I wish I had a boyfriend sometimes.

When we got to David's party. Everybody was literally holding red cups which meant alcohol. Kate had friends there so she just left to the party and I went to the kitchen to get a drink myself. Suprisingly, nobody was really there. I got a red cup with some beer in it and I was glad that nobody really was in the kitchen because it was peaceful and quiet unlike the loud music in the living room. I was wrong about being peaceful when I heard a familiar voice.

"Hey Gabs, babe." I looked behind me to see an intoxicated Stephen.

"Stephen." I snapped out.

"Babe, you look so hot in that black dress of yours." Stephen said while getting closer to me.

"Stephen, stay away from me." I said pushing his chest about to run to the kitchen door but Stephen got a hold of my arm and held it tightly.

"Babe, don't ruin the fun. You always ruin the fucking fun. Now as I was saying, you look hot in this dress." Stephen said while kissing my neck slowly.
