Chapter 4

Drinking my blood has taken a toll on Yasmine body as her body felt weak and fell on to the ground. I could probably guess that her mind is spinning and getting dizzy. She was trying to look at me straightly but the images are being swayed from her eyes. This will probably go on for a couple of days till she feels comfortable with my blood inside of her. For now it is too strong for her to overcome. I kneeled down to look at her. My blue eyes glowed as she fell asleep on my arms at my hypnotism.

I pulled the strand of her hair to the side of her face. She looks like a little kid despite her age. I leaned in to kiss her on the forehead under the moonlight. She looks so peaceful sleeping.

I walked into the darkest part of the forest and disappear becoming one with the darkness and reappear at my bedroom with Yasmine in my embrace. I softly put her in my bed and walked to my mother's room.

"Mom," I called. She turns around holding onto a wine glass, but to only smell the stench of blood. My eyes glowed blue for a second and my chest with throbbing pain.

"Honey," she sigh. "I was assigned to raise you up, but you really need to learn you're not human anymore. And the smell of a hunter is here. Did she find out?" I nodded my head. "You need to drink. I'll pour some out for you." I shook my head. She sigh. "Rose, this blood was donated into the hospital and the hospital donated to the government and the government donated to us, vampires. It's their will. We didn't force them to give us their blood it was on their own free will. So drink especially since you're a himegami. You need strength in order to defeat your enemies."

With a blood sachet she poured it on black cup to hide the color of the blood. I smile. My mom really knows me the best. I walked towards the table place the cup in my hands. I was really hesitant, but the world needs me that was the purpose of me being brought up into this world

I close my eyes and stayed calm. I put the rim of the cup to my lips and tossed the drink into my mouth. When the blood touches my tongue it was hard to resist and gobbled every last of blood there is. I put the cup down and I felt power rushing into me, but the taste of blood was still hard to resist. I sat down on the chair trying to calm down.

My mother sat down as she patted my back. "You'll get used to it, darling. You'll get used to it."

I only nodded my head and just try to remained my head clear. "Mom," I took her hand. "I need to say something to you."

"Did anything happen?"

I could only give in a sad smile. " I have fallen in love, and she is not a normal person. She's a hunter."

"Himegami are not allowed to fall in."

"I know... But... Mom I have given my blood to Yasmine."

She stood up. "Rose, please don't tell that is true."

"Sorry ma, I have turned a hunter into my bride."
