Wish Upon A Star.

•Chapter 13•

Two Months later.

Kevin's life turned hectic, he had to decide between his career, his mother or Ana. And he couldn't juggle all of them at the same time, and of course he dropped Ana; in his mind he didn't leave her, he just needed to get his crap together. He was doing all this for her, so that they would have enough in the future, he was doing all he could so that his heart would know what exactly it wanted. . . He wanted her but his heart was just all over the place.

The rockstar's mother recovered her memory, and was in shock. . . She didn't respond to her mediation and treatments, so the doctors had to keep her in Masdin; to further her treatment and wait for her to respond.

Kevin made sure to call and check up on her every day, Aria— his mother's closest friend— made sure that she was taken good care of.

Kevin was on his way to Ohio when he received a phone call from Aria— his mother's closest friend. She had been taking care of her, not leaving her side. And Kevin was grateful, "Hello aunt Ari, how are you?"

"No time for all that! Your mom is back to normal, she is asking for you dear." Aria said excitedly.

"Thank God! I'll be there soon," he said before adding, "thank you so much aunt, I know we haven't known each other for a long period of time, but I want you to know that I appreciate everything you have done for my mom."

"Oh sweetie, you are my family now. So don't worry okay? See you soon."

Meanwhile. . .

Anaisa Morgan, was now the talk of the city, her restaurant had become a major blow. Celebrities, families, couples, friends and a lot of people came to dine in her restaurant. She finally bought a new car, which Duncan wanted to drive all day long. But Ana obviously didn't let him, the months passed by in bliss, Duncan even celebrated his birthday.

Mary and Duncan told Ana they were together, and she was more than happy. Although Mary's parents didn't approve, they later let it slide. Both teenagers offered to help Ana's restaurant by working par time.

Her life was almost perfect, she had achieved what she wanted; to be an independent woman. Yay, to that. . . However, Anasia missed Kevin. His absence was tearing a big hole in her heart, it was obvious she was in love, and she hoped that she wasn't alone, she hoped he was somewhere thinking about her.

"I am ready to go," Mary said peaking into Ana's office, her hair was tied in a bun. "Oh okay, come in if you want." Smiled Ana.

"Do you want to talk about something? You seem to have something to say," Anasia asked, whilst standing up and walking over to the mini fridge, grabbing two bottles of refreshments.

Mary shook her head, letting out a chuckle, "thank you, you know me so well."

The beautiful teenager signed, taking a sip from her drink. "I feel like Duncan is tired of me, it's like his cheating on me. He is being all distant, it's messing me up! I tried talking to him but he won't budge. Ugh Ana I don't know that to do. . . He didn't even come to work today, am I that bad of a girlfriend?"

Ana listened quietly, she knew what was happening; Duncan was in love with Mary and wanted to confess it to her in a special way, he asked Ana to help him ask her parents to let her stay over, he wanted a nice dinner, she didn't know what awaited her at home

"Listen baby, I know my brother, he isn't tired of you! Not at all, in fact he is crazy about you. How about we head over to the mall? You can spend the night at my house afterwards." Ana suggested.

Mary eagerly nodded and carried Ana's purse for her, as she locked the door of her office, "Joshua, your in charge man." Ana informed her manager, he was a middle aged man, very energetic and kindhearted.

The drive to the mall was cheerful, both of the females laughed and sang the lyrics of the song fall by Davido. It was old and they couldn't quite pronounce everything he sang, but they loved it.

"Hm, what should we do first?" Ana asked as they reached their destination.

"How about just a bit of everything?" Mary asked with all seriousness, she adored shopping, she wished she could live in a shopping mall.

Ana laughed, "let's just get massages, I'm sure your sore all over from working, plus I need it too."

A few hours later, they were done. . . "I can't believe that Emilo betrayed his uncle! Jeez I can't wait to see tomorrow's episode." Mary said disbelievingly, referring to a telenovela; Prisoners of love on Telemundo. Mary was a sucker for telenovelas, she enjoyed the drama and passion.

They walked towards the car, keen to getting some rest. Ana bought Mary a pair of sunglasses, she would have bought her more items but Mary still felt shy with Ana, eve though they were practically like sisters.

Walking into the house Ana was sure Duncan was ready, because she texted him halfway through the way home. She opened the door, and was followed by Mary who was trailing behind her. They inhaled the warm aroma of freshly baked pizza.

The table for two was set, awaiting for his girl to notice him, Duncan cleared his throat and in a heartbeat they locked eyes, forgetting Ana was there Mary walked towards her boyfriend with a star struck smile.

"Awwn, you did this for me?" Mary asked, smiling profusely.

Ana made her way upstairs to relax herself. She smiled at the happy couple, they were meant to be. She silently noted.

"Of course I did beautiful," he replied, getting down on one knee, he pulled out a black box from his pocket, and clicked it open. . . Revealing a beautiful ring.

Anywaaaayyy, how was this chapter? I really hope that it was to your liking. Cause i enjoyed writing it. Even know I was a bit lazy, I wanted to sleep and eat cake all day. I changed the restaurant name to coco flames, from Dunki flames, I wanted to change it to Bom flames. Idk if it's ayt.

Something weird happened guys! Chapter 11 isn't showing on my works. . . Idk if any of you can see it. But if you can't please pm me, cause I really don't know what to do. But I wrote another one tho. . .

Btw, I have started editing some of my chapters. Chapter 2 is edited and is now ready to read. I'll soon upload them and I advice that you start reading from the beginning. I'm excited cuz the new introduction chapter is now neat and welcoming. Sorry, but I just felt it needed more pizza sparkles. 💙
