coffee and cigarettes

I dragged myself out of bed and opened up my closet. I had to look cute for hanging with Brandon. I grabbed my Pink Floyd shirt and a pair of grey skinny jeans. I brushed my Mohawk to one side and looked in the mirror. I just shrugged and determined I looked good enough. On my way out the door I grabbed my hat that I got from warped tour last year. I trudged up the hill up to Brandon's house. I found him outside smoking a cigarette.

"Brandon? I didn't know you smoked." I said once I was within ear shot.

"Oh shit I was trying to hide this from you..." he trailed off

"Dude don't worry, I don't really care." I said

"Oh thank God." He said taking another drag." want some coffee?"

" Is that even a question? Hell yeah I want some coffee."

We walked inside and he grabbed two cups and poured coffee in both. "I don't know how you like it." He said motioning to the coffee and passing me the sugar and cream. I put sugar and cream in my coffee and took a sip.

" What lunch do you have today?" I asked hoping he had C.

" A. You?"

"C" I said disappointedly."We need to get going to school."

" Oh yeah we do."

We walked to school hand in hand. About half way to school I asked " Do you want to hang today after school?"

"That sounds cool, meet me out front?"

"Sound good." I said

"Make sure you don't forget I have something important to ask you later."

"Okay?" I said confusedly as we walked in the school.

" I gotta go. See you." He said rushing off

I went to the library to track down my friend Sami. As soon as I saw her she rushed up to me.

"So how did things with Brandon go?" She asked, winking at me.

"Well I made out with him and today after school he has to 'ask me something important' so I think pretty good." I replied.

"Ooooo you go gurl! I got to get to class I will see you later."

" Bye Sami I will give you details tomorrow." I said as we parted ways. I dragged myself up to the third floor for algebra.
