Part 1 the waterfall

The sky glowed a dark blue, the type of blue that rarely shows up unless you see the sky right before the sun starts to rise, the Stars shown brightly, and looking close you could see constellations chained throughout the sky, looking even closer you might see stars shooting with a tail of light. As the sky loomed above the sounds of rushing water flooded the night, but there was no crashing, not even a distant echo of water hitting ground or more water.

But there was the sounds of quiet weeping and mumbling, "there's no point, nobody deserves to be in contact with someone so... I can't fix this, I don't understand... I... C-" the yellow dinosaur in a laboratory coat quickly turned around as soon as she heard the splish-splash of approaching footsteps.

"H-hey... Uh... Whatcha doin in the water? Heh, you're not a fish!" A blue humanoid with fins and a long streaming red ponytail was standing behind the small dinosaur.

"... Uh, what... What would I call you?" The blue fish person said as they sat down at where the water falls into the darkness," I'm undyne!" The dinosaur stood there, still as a statue for a moment...

Finally they replied,"uh... I... I'm a-alphys... And... Um... I'm just... Uh, o-observing the waterfall! H-heh..."

"Oh, yeeeaaaaah... I, uh... I wonder what's at the bottom? Heh, yah know?"

The yellow dinosaur's eyes widened at the opportunity to talk about something she would think about on a normal basis.

"O-oh... Um, well, there's actually a-alot of theories a-about ththhat... Uh, um, o-one of them is that it actually leads into a cave wh-where monsterkind originated, a-as vicious hunters, another th-eeory is.. Is that at the end is a whole nother world in itself! One similar is th-that it's a portal into an alternative universe, some p-people think that there IS a monster down there, a-and that theory is extremely possible... And, maybe there Is another w-world down there... A place where you could no longer exist in this world... You would be forgotten... You wouldn't matter..."
