Part two riding home

Undyne stared at Alphys watching their expression, then at the black hole the water fell into, she scooted back and stood up and watched as Alphys stood ever so close to the edge.

“Uh, so, I'm going to go home, I can uh… Walk you to your house.”

“Um… I'm fine… I think I'll just… St-”

“Nah! I insist! Come on! I'll carry yah!”

Undyne interrupted and held her hand out.

“C-carry me?”

“Fuhuhuhuhuhuhu! Think I can't? Come on! I'll prove it!”

Undyne said as she smiled.

Alphys hesitated, but then put her hand, as well as her trust, in undines’ hand…

Undyne pulled Alphys up into her arms and started for the bridge running across the river, she jumped up over the rails, and then landed on the wood boards that made up the bridge, then quickly turned and darted across the bridge, and then sped through a town, dodging humans and monsters through the town, jumping over crowds of monsters or humans alike, along the way undyne asked where Alphys lived, “heh, y-you should've asked b-before we left! I l-live near the c-capital in the-the Royal Research L-Laboratory.”

“Heh, sorry, forgot! Fuhuhuhuhuhuhu!... So… Wait are you the Royal Scientist?”

“N-no, I'm actually a-an assistant to... w-well, we d-don't know…”

“ huh, I did always hear he cept to himself… Isn't he relatively new? Wait… DID we have a royal scientist before him? I mean, the lab has been there for a while but…”

“H-how do you kn-now so much? Are you part of the R-royal Council?”

“Hah! I don't do politics! I do spearing punks in the face!”

Alphys looked at undyne with an adoring smirk as she felt the breeze along her face, every now and then bouncing as undyne landed.

“S-so what d-do you do?”

“Hah! I'm Captain of the Royal Guard!”

*When undyne drops Alphys off at home*

“Th-thanks for the… Ride? Hehe…”

“No problem! Anything for a cute dinosaur like… Y-you…”

Undynes face turned a lighter blue, she stiffly turned around saying “see ya punk!”

And she waved as she ran off.

“...”

Alphys reflected on what just happened and blushed a little, smirking widely, she turned around to see her personal lab space door, remembering dark memories from her past.

“Nothing can truly change for me…”
