The Story Of Mia

Chapter Four

Mia woke up and got dressed for school and she made sure she was not late for the bus today. As she was going to school she talked to Briget the whole way. But when she arrived at school there was the popular group sitting at a table close to Mia's bus. As Mia walked out of the bus they started saying,"look that is the book worm!" Also saying,"your such a nerd!"

After they said that to her she started to run, she was trying not to cry but she could not help it. Mia hid behind a trash can and began to read."Why can I not be like the girls in the books, they are so beautiful, they are popular and they have a happy life but me, I am having a bad life"she thought to herself. Then she stood up and said," maybe I can be just like the girls in the book!" She started to run and she ran all the way back to her house.

She found the tree! The one Skyler took her yesterday! She opened the door and climbed down the ladder. She unlaced the red door and opened it. She saw all the fantasy people!"Hey! There is Alice from Alice And Wonder Land,"Mia said to herself quietly.

Mia ran up to her and gave her a hug."Aww, hi sweet child say what character are you?"Alice said."U...mmm I am... [Her face turned sad] I am not a character I am a human,"Mia had said.

"Why are you over here then my child?"Said Alice."I do not really know actually, I just thought I would have a visit,"said Mia."Well it must of took a while to get here my child so follow me and I will wip you up a cup of tea,"Alice said."O...ok,"Mia said with a smile.

As they were walking to the destination Alice was taking Mia too, Mia saw buildings and lands everywhere."These lands and buildings look so familiar,"Mia said.

"Why that is because these are lands and buildings in the books, see that one is Cinderellas cottage and that one is Harry Potters school and why look at this, this is the willy wonka and the chocolate factory we get chocolate everyday from that nice fella,"Alice said."Well look at this, this is my house it is a bit funky but it is pretty nice if you will ask me," said Alice.

"Well this is my house,"Alice said."It is really nice Alice,"said Mia."Thank you I have been living in this house my whole life!"Alice said.

They both walked into Alice's house, Alice first then Mia. It is really funky on the inside, Mia thought to herself. Alice took her to her dining room and politely asked her to sit on one of the chairs.

"What type of tea do you usually drink?"Alice said."U...mmm I do not really drink tea actually but get the type of tea you think I would like,"Mia said."I think you would like the mint tea I perhaps."Alice said.

"How did you know that I LOVE mint!"Mia said."Well, that is lovely child," Alice said. She disappeared into the kitchen and within five seconds she brought two beautiful cups filled with warm tea."So my child, how did you find out about this town down here?"Alice said."Or who told you?"Alice said.

"I do not want to get Skyler in trouble," Mia thought to herself."U...mmmm I was just wondering around and I climbed this tree and boom now I am here in this wonderful and beautiful town!"Mia said."Nice my child, but I know you are hiding something," Alice said."No, I am not," Mia said.

Mia hates to lie to people especially right to their face but she had to she did not want Skyler to get in trouble. Mia then pulled out her phone and looked at the time."It is five pm, I am so sorry but I have to go I have to get home and do my chores and plus I have school tomorrow," Mia said."I really liked the tea may I bring it with me?"Said Mia.

"Yes my child takes it and be careful as you walking home, you do not want anyone coming for you now do you?" Alice said."Ok, thank you have a nice day and I really loved the tea bye!"Mia said

"Bye," said, Alice. Mia walked back to her house and wrote in her diary before she went to bed.

Dear Diary,

You would not believe what has been happening! I have had an amazing week so far! I met THE ONE AND ONLY Alice from Alice in Wonderland! You might not believe me but then again you are just a diary so you do not really have an opinion.

I have not seen Skyler but I will probably see him tomorrow hopefully. When I was at school today there were some people that were picking on me so I ran to the secret tree house Skyler took me to. I do not know if I told you about that secret tree house but yeah that is what I did today.

I will write to you tomorrow, I got to go to bed because I have an exam tomorrow in drama class tomorrow which I never knew they had tests in drama class but I guess they do. Bye!
