The Story Of Mia

Chapter Nine

"Mia, MIA, MIA!!!"Skyler said scared. Skyler then quickly picked her up and put her on his back and started running. Skyler ran into the forest for about an hour and found a good tree and climbed up it. He then layed Mia down and took water out of his bag and took a drink out of it.

"If we are going to camp out here tonight or who knows how long I should probably get to work right now making a house."Skyler thought to himself. Skyler then secured Mia onto the tree so she does not fall off. Then Skyler jumped down the tree and went to go get big pieces of wood on the floor to make a house in the tree.

Skyler has been collecting wood for about thirty minutes and he set up the tree house where Mia was sleeping and he made a bed so she would be comfortable in. Mia then woke up and Skyler was sitting down in the corner of the tree house."GIANTS!!! THEY ARE COMING FOR US!"Mia said scared.

"Mia it is ok, they are not here. We are safe do not worry, I will not let anything happen to you ok?"Skyler said calmly."Ok, but I am trus... WOW! DID YOU DO ALL OF THIS?!"Mia said excitedly."Yah while you were passed out I got wood and started building this. Was the bed comfortable?"Skyler asked Mia. 

"YES! It was sooooooo comfortable! I thought I was in one of those memory soft beds!"Mia said excitedly. "We cannot stay here for long though because they will track us down eventually so we will have to travel out of here..."Skyler said but then Mia interrupted.

"WHERE WOULD WE GO?!"Mia said loudly."Be quiet, the giants might hear you, and I do not know yet where we would travel but it will be somwhere far!"Skyler said happily."FAR! I DO NOT WANT TO GO FAR!"Mia said scared.

"Mia we will be fine, we might not be there for long."Skyler said."Well ok then."Mia said."Right now get some rest because tomorrow is going to be a loooong day."Skyler said."Ok,"Mia said approvingly."B..ut where are you going to sleep?"Mia said curiously.

"Oh, I am going to sleep on the ground out of the tree."Skyler said."Oh... NO! You can sleep in the tree house it is ok."Mia said while smiling."NO, I have to guard in case the giants come back because I am the only one that has weapons.

"WAIT, SKYLER!"Mia said."Yes?"Skyler said to Mia."How did you learn to use the bow and arrows?"Mia asked Skyler."Robin Hood taught me how to use them."Skyler said while smiling."That is cool!"Mia said while smiling.

"Do you think maybe you can teach me how to use the bow and arrows tomorrow?"Mia asked."Maybe, well goodnight and get some good sleep because like I said tomorrow is going to be a loooong day, I have a plan but it is not going to be easy."Skyler said.

"Ok, goodnight!"Mia said. Skyler then jumped out of the tree and Mia then laid down. "What does Skyler mean by the plan is not going to be easy?"Mia thought to herself scared."Oh well I need to get some sleep because today was a long day and who knows how long tomorrow is going to be."Mia said quietly to herself.

Skyler was making a fire and heard Mia singing. Oh when he heard Mia singing he was assure his heart skipped a beat. She then looked out of the tree house window and saw Skyler staring at her."Good morning Skyler,"Mia said."Good morning Mia"Skyler said tiredly."You look like you have not had much sleep."Mia said concerned.

"I am fine Mia,"Skyler said weakly."Sooooo... What is the plan?"Mia asked."Oh... yah the plan is to go back to the town and..."Skyler said but the Mia cut him off."ARE YOU CRAZY!"Mia said."But I got a plan... We are going to get the good guys there and possess them and get them on our team."Skyler said. 

"That sound like a great plan but how do we get them on our team?"Mia asked."The arrows that I have will have different liquids on each of them. We will fire those arrows into the good characters that we want on our team."Skyler said to Mia.

"We cannot mix the arrows though because each arrow is assigned to a character for instance robin hood's arrow will have a liquid made up of his personality which is arrow strength because he is good with arrows and a pinch of sugar and a pinch of lemon.

"Why sugar and lemon?"Mia asked."Because he is sweet but sour depending on the moment."Skyler said."Then for the big friendly giant... Now this one is going to be hard to come up with so lets see he is nice and sweet so we will add sugar and..."Skyler said but Mia cut him off.

"We could add milk!"Mia said excitedly."Why would we add milk?"Skyler asked curiously."Well because legend says milk makes your bones strong and you grow fast and well, the big friendly giant is tall."Mia said."Wow, you are good! We will add that to the liquid now."Skyler said happily.

"So I need to teach you how to use the arrow, it is not going to be easy because the big friendly giant is on Alice's team right now so he is not friendly right now."Skyler said."So I brought two bow and arrows one for me and one for you."Skyler said.
