IT WAS TIME. They all arrived in a small Russian town where Steppenwolf had placed the Mother Boxes in an abandoned nuclear facility. Once we arrived, the small town looked like something out of a doomsday movie. The sky was red and orange and buildings were destroyed and the trees were dead.
Everyone got out of the 'airplane' and Bruce looked at everyone, "I'm going to get to that tower over there. Take out Steppenwolf and don't worry about me." He turned around and pressed a silver button which shut the door and then the aircraft flew right back up into the sky.
Everyone watched the aircraft the fly through as Bruce tried to clear the field and wipe out the 'bugs'. Victor looked worried, "He's clearing the fields."
"He won't last three minutes," Diana commented.
"Then let's use them," Arthur took a firm grip on his trident and walked forward.
Everyone shared looked before Diana spoke, "On my lead."
"Just so you know, I'm like the only one here who can't fly, jump really high, or run really fast," I mentioned again.
Diana smiled, "Don't worry."

Barry and I were on bug duty. He helped us get Victor to the Mother Box, and once we got there Victor focused quickly on his task. One of the 'bugs' flew towards me and I quickly used my baton smack it against the head, but with one comes many more.
Another flew towards me with a screech and it grabbed on to by baton, it put pressure on the metal making my feet skid before I used enough energy to push back sending it back. I gripped tight onto my baton before slamming it into the big, causing it to die out.
I blew a hair out of my face as two more flew towards me, I moved back and forth swiftly as the metal collided with their bodies. Then one of the grabbed me from behind and flew up into the air. I used my elbow to hit its face but the only damage it caused was to my elbow. I squirmed from its grip enough to get free and fall to the ground with a thud.
I picked myself up back quickly as I felt my knee stinging. Steppenwolf grabbed Victor, "Now, you see it's power!" Before he could do anything, Diana let out a scream and collided her arm bracelet with her shield which emitted a blast to break the bridge they were all standing on.
The bridge collapsed and everyone fell before hitting the ground once more. After that, it was hell. Steppenwolf tried to attack Victor but he flew and Diana's whip tied around Steppenwolf but she struggled to pull him back, Arthur went in and helped her pull the whip back but it was no use.
Steppenwolf reached Victor and hit him in the shoulder with his ax, "You are not worthy of Mother or her power!" He rose Victor up in the air and broke his leg off and threw him on the ground. I ran up towards Steppenwolf and hit his horns with the end of my baton but it was no use.
He turned to me with a smirk and kicked my knee, sending me a few feet with pain surging through my leg all over again. I couldn't fight anymore, I let out a scream as I fell on the ground for the third time.
"You're all too weak to see the truth," Steppenwolf started.
"Well," everyone turned their heads to see nonother than Superman, himself, "Well, I see the truth. But I'm also a big fan of justice." He slammed his fists into Steppenwolf's face slamming him into one of his structures.
The two engaged in a small fight before, Clark went over to Bruce to talk about the plan. Clark nodded before flying away to help civilians. Everyone was fighting against Steppenwolf and I felt helpless. The metal plate that Victor had designed, no longer worked. Steppenwolf had destroyed it completely and my knee was much worse than it was.
I saw Diana make an 'x' with her arms and I quickly turned around and shielded my face in case anything happened. Soon enough force erupted throughout the entire room. Everyone looked around only to notice Clark and Victor were the ones that caused it.
The two men started to complain about their toes hurting, I lay on the ground with nothing else to do, "You do realize, I had my knee bashed in twice, right?"
"I'm really sorry about that," Clark apologized.
I chuckled, "Bygones are bygones."
Barry ran in with a smile on his face, "Have you guys seen what's going on out there?"
Steppenwolf then grabbed Barry and slammed him into one of the walls. Steppenwolf started giving a speech about how the world is his right but Diana had no time for his bullshit. She grabbed her sword and ra past Steppenwolf. Clark then used his magical cold air powers and blew on Steppenwolf's ax, Diana then ran up a small curve and jumped, her sword breaking Steppenwolf's ax.
"This cannot be!" Steppenwolf protested.
"You recognize that smell?" Arthur asked.
"Fear," Bruce answered.
Then all of the bugs came flying in and started attacking Steppenwolf. Steppenwolf tried to fight back but he was outnumbered by a lot. He was soon covered by a whole pile of the bugs. Everyone watched as he cried out for help. A blue light came from the sky and covered Steppenwolf with the bugs, once it was gone, the only remains left was his helmet.
After those events, I had gone to the doctor's to check out my knee and I needed surgery. Luckily, Bruce was there to pay for it even though I refused. Everyone's life started falling into place. Clark got his house back, Diana was being the role model that young children looked up to. Barry got a job at S.T.A.R Labs and Victor got his armor fixed, there was nothing more we could've asked for.
