Thomas's POV

I rush into the school. I'm instantly surround by other students. Let's just say I'm really popular. I don't know why, I just am. After school I pass the music room. I can hear soft music playing. I peek into the room. A girl is sitting at a chair and is playing an instrument.

"Now, I've heard there was a secret chord

That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift
The baffled king composing hallelujah

Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah

Your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew ya
She tied you to a kitchen chair
She broke your throne, and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the hallelujah

Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah

You say I took the name in vain
I don't even know the name
But if I did, well really, what's it to you?
There's a blaze of light in every word
It doesn't matter which you heard
The holy or the broken hallelujah

Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah

I did my best, it wasn't much
I couldn't feel, so I tried to touch
I've told the truth, I didn't come to fool you
And even though it all went wrong
I'll stand before the lord of song
With nothing on my tongue but hallelujah

Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah," She finishes singing the song.

"You are amazing at singing," I say. She jumps and looks at me. I walk closer to her. She backs up. I'm confused at that. Normally girls would be flirting with me. This girl just seems scared. She runs past me and out of the music room. I run after her. I stop when I see a group of the school bullies, also known as, more popular kids. I look over one guy's shoulder. The most popular kid is beating the girl up. Tears fall from her eyes as he kicks her. He grips her hair and tugs her head back. He grabs her throat and shoves her against the lockers. She gasps for air. He kicks her a few more times before walking away. The group also walks away with him. I kneel down next to her to see if she is alright.

"You alright?" I ask. She looks up at me, since I'm taller. She looks away. She stands up and walks away. She looks to be in pain as she walks. I sigh and stand up. I go to hang with my group of friends.
