*I Just Wanna Run*
I just wanna run
As the ferns catch on my dress
Begging me to stop running
To turn around and take care of the mess
that is my life...
I just wanna run,
Feeling the wind pass through my soul
Dusting off the memories
Concealing the anger in wind swept soil
leaving behind that life
Why cant I just run?
And capture happiness in each hand
As I move from landscape to landscape
In search of something more grand
Than what is this life...
I just wanna run
Faster than any wind could blow
I could move mountains and trees
But I'm stuck looking out of this dusty window
Every day of my life
I hope I can just run
Whenever my heart desires
And then I won't need to come back at all
And I won't listen to all the liars
That make problems in my life.
