Did Yoongi love Jimin back?

There's so much Yoonmin and Taegi in these books I should've just made it that.

Anyway, so in the second book, before he dies, Jimin basically reveals to Yoongi that he's in love with him by making out with him in a hospital, like that helped anything.

I have a really bad feeling. "Hyung?"

"Hmm?" Yoongi's still crying, but he's calmed now.

"Am I gonna die?" I ask. Jin stops moving. I can see his chest moving with heavy breaths. I try and calm my own, "Hyung?"

Jin collapses on the floor in a fit of tears. Yoongi's shaking. He looks over at me, "Jimin." He whispers, "please."

And I decide to take control. I try my best to ignore Jin, who's still crying. I blink back tears, "Yoongi, look at me." My voice sounds stern. Whoa damn, where'd you come from? I think to myself. Suga does look over for a second and I grab the back of his neck and plant my lips onto his and all of a sudden we're making out in a hospital? Is this really how I go? With this memory. And I can't help but think if I die now, he's gonna be heartbroken and I've just ruined his whole life.

I pull back. Yoongi's eyes are wide, shocked.

Yoongi doesn't actually know how to react to that. Throughout the rest of the book, nobody mentions this. There's only the forehead kiss, which is supposed to be cute, but Jimin was already dead when he did it, so that was why. He wanted to pay him back somehow.

Yoongi never actually loved Jimin back.

I know what you're thinking:

"If Yoongi didn't love Jimin, then why did he cry so much?"

Think. Jimin had a glimmer of hope. He could've lived. Yoongi was so fucking desperate to not be alone that he would've sold his soul to the devil of it meant someone could at least survive. He was so heartbroken when his only hope left was dead, he didn't know what was expected of him. But he didn't love Jimin.

He did love someone, but he died in the tenth chapter of the first book. V.

Yoongi could've fallen in love with Jimin, but he was just scared that he was going to die again that he didn't let himself.
