October, 1966
It was painless falling in love with James. It's been almost a year since they met, almost a year since they started dating. Of course none of their friends knew, it was extremely looked down upon to be homosexual. They've barely talked to anyone they knew from school, now that it was done. They were too busy with each other.
Seamus had never had a relationship last this long, not even close. He hadn't exactly been in a real relationship ever before this one. He was happier than he'd ever been, of course studying and work was still very stressful for him. Seamus was smart, very smart in fact, but he was a perfectionist. He'd have to do it right or not at all.
James was almost the opposite. He'd had plenty of relationships before this one, all of them being girls, but some lasting a whole year. James was smart too, but he didn't think things through, and he never really worked hard on anything, thinking it'd be a "waste", or pulling it off as "it's good enough". Seamus saw all this in James, but when they were together, it was like the whole bad boy attitude was just an act. He cared for him, more than his family did. He was the sweetest guy Seamus knew, and he was so lucky to have him.
"Maybe it'll snow this year" James said, looking out the window, leaning against the frame with a cigarette in his mouth.
"I hope so, but that'll never happen" Seamus replied blandly.
"What do you mean? Of course it could." James said this like he was offended, turning around to look at Seamus.
"We'll see." Seamus sighed, not taking his eyes off his novel.
Seamus loved this time of year, winter. The cold felt more welcoming than the sticky heat of summer. He loved how the sun rose late, and set early. He loved when snow fell at late hours and you could see it illuminated by the streetlights. He loved spending the winter with James, it was like a whole other separate experience from winter itself. James was there with his arms wrapped around him in the night, with the window slightly cracked, because the cold was comforting to him. He loved when he could see his own breath, and how warm coffee felt every morning, and how relaxing tea felt every night. There wasn't anything Seamus didn't love about right now, expect the fact of James' possibly being drafted haunted his mind.
James still couldn't believe it, how beautiful Seamus was. He couldn't help himself but smile as he watched him read. He'd never felt this way before, the feeling in his stomach he got by just watching him. James guessed this is what love felt like, when he'd always want to be together, and when they weren't, he'd be thinking about being with Seamus; and without him, his life felt incomplete. James trusted the other with his life; and he would do anything for him. James wanted nothing more than for Seamus to be really happy- no matter what it takes because his needs come before his own. He was always the last thing James thought about before he fell asleep, and the first thing on his mind when he awoke. When he was with him, James' heart raced. When they touched, he'd get butterflies in his stomach. When they'd kiss, it just toke his breath away, literally. James' smile never left his face, it's the happiest he'd been in a long time, years. He never wanted this feeling to leave, he loved it just as much as he loved Seamus.
James extinguished his cigarette, and sat down beside Seamus, pushing his book gently down, and kissing him
passionately. "I love you" James whispered, their foreheads rested together. "I know" Seamus smirked, pecking him back.
James pushed him back onto the couch, Seamus' book falling out of his hands. "James-" Seamus tried to say something, but James cut him off by pressing their lips together. Seamus sucked air in through his teeth, kissing him just as heated. He kissed him once, twice, three times. He started moving his lips lower, with his hands trailing close behind. James pulled his sweater to the side, for access to Sea's neck. James pulled at the buttons on the sweater, then pushing it off completely. Sea helped, shimmying off his undershirt to leave his bare chest open to the cold, causing Sea to shiver from the open window.
"Ya' need some warming up?" James mumbled into Seamus' chest.
"Yes" Seamus breathed, from a mixture of heat and cold.
James pulled them both up from the couch, and slowly made it to their room, their kiss never breaking. James pawed at Seamus's pants, undoing the buttons, and Seamus stepping out of them, still making their way to the bedroom. James pushed Seamus onto the bed, rolling his own tight shirt off himself. Sea recollected himself, sitting up straight on the bed, waiting for James. James quickly undid his belt, swiftly pulling his pants off to join his boyfriend on the bed. He hovered over Sea, leaving no skin untouched, gradually moving lower. His tongue slid across the younger's stomach, causing his head to fall backward.
"Oh, you like that?" James mumbled into Sea's skin. He moved forward, trailing his mouth down to Seamus's thigh, licking and biting at the skin.
He grabbed at James's hair, his stubble brushing against the sensitive skin. James mouthed at his cocks through the thin briefs. Seamus's hips jutted upwards out of instinct, and the grip on the older's hair tightened, but James' gently pushed him back down. "Please" Seamus said breathily.
James returned back to Sea's mouth, harshly kissing his while his hand lingered over the other boy's growing bulge. James kept him pinned, carful not to let him move. He was still sucking and biting at the already swollen lips. Seamus let his hands move onto James' back, clawing at it, as the hand on his cock increased the pace of speed. Seamus moved his hands lower, massaging his boyfriends ass.
"Baby, please fuck me." Seamus finally said, moaning loudly.
"You want me to fuck you? Nice and slow, I'll make it last all fucking night, baby." James growled, biting at the skin of his neck.
Seamus forgot about everything in that moment, he didn't care if all his friends found out that he was queer. He forgot about his school work, studying. He didn't care, all he wanted right now was James.
James flipped them over, forcing Seamus down eye level with his crotch. "Suck me dry, babe" James' voice was raspy, his eyes clouded over with lust.
Seamus slid down his boyfriend's underwear, releasing James' hard cock. He bobbed his head on it once, letting it out of his mouth, and stroking the base. Seamus looked up at him to see James arched his back, closing his eyes, trying not to make a sound. He smiled, bobbing his head faster. "Oh, shit, Seamus, you're gonna make me come."
James came down Seamus' throat, Sea standing up to spit it out in the bathroom. They both quickly changed briefs, and threw their old clothes in the laundry. "Sick" Seamus coughed, returning to the bedroom. James smirked, wrapping his arms around the younger boy's waist. He hummed some Beatles' song into the boys ear.
"It's snowing" Seamus smiled, listening to his boyfriend hum to him.
"I told you so"
