Chapter 3 : The result of murder

I felt numb... I mean...

I did it for my mom right?

Everyone's hate is just the price I have to pay for family.

I just hope I survive.

Two days earlier...

"Don't you get it?" Vehretta asked almost shouting.

"It makes you vulnerable, rash not to mention it speeds up your body's regeneration rate."

" I don't care," I stated firmly holding onto my choice.

We were in the hospital again, only this time tautchie Vehretta Van and Tess surrounded me.

Apparently I had barely survived surgery, to correct a multiple, rib cage fracture that I had apparently recieved.

Which was ridiculous, I feel fine.

"Come-on guys knock it off," I tried "now that I have away to fight back I can rescue my mom."

After a while Vehretta sighed and walk to the room's entrance.

"Can you give us some privacy?" She looked at Van and Tsutchie , Van nodded walked from the room.

After a while Tsutchie did too and Vehretta closed the door.

She walked over to the bed and sat beside me.

"I won't change my mind," I stated "you're a mother, how would you feel if you were captured by those guys and someone could save you but wasn't allowed to?"

She looked at me and held my hand "there are other ways."

Three days later...

"What are we looking for again?" Tess asked.

She had been by my side since I was unconscious. Just like she used to when we were smaller. I was helping her and she was helping me.

But just not in the way I'd want her to.

"That guy over there s been eyeing you since we came, I think he's into you," Tess said with a fiendish smile.

We were at the historical library, there was a few things I wanted to find out about.

First was this man named Tetsuo and some other guys who were supposedly descendants of the hiragi clan.

And the second was why someone would be banished from a clan.

"That's not why he's looking at me," I replied with a straight face "you know that."

Apparently rumors of my takeover, were spreading.

"Come-on I'm bored, I wanna see the sights or go to that forest you were talking about." She begged.

That forest...

I cursed it with my life...

It took Dylan... From me...

"Yeah I could show it to you but I have to finalize becoming the clan head first."I noted "I can't have any opposition, else I may never see my mom again."

"That was kinda brave, what you did, but mostly stupid." Tess stated.

"Don't worry about it, I have the elites on my side and if anyone wants to do anything about it they can't because of the hierarchy law." I countered.
