Chapter 11
Zoe's POV.
Everything was back to normal. I tried my hardest to stay alive and I succedded. "Mommy I hungry"
"Ok Andrew. I'll make dinner. Go play some video games with daddy!"
"Cmon soldier!" Hunter said while picking up his son and carrying him to the couch. I went in the kitchen to start on dinner.
I looked over my shoulder into the living room to find them playing a war game. I ran in there. "Hunter can I speak to you?"
"Uh yeah"
I dragged him away and crossed my arms. "Why the hell are you letting our three year old son play a war game?!"
"What my dad let us play it when we were young and I turned out fine!"
"If you think fine means, a guy who gets a girl pregnant and married at 18, almost gets her killed and puts her in danger, then yes, you turned out perfectly fine".
I went back in the living room and turned off the game, and instead, turning on sponge bob. I grabbed the burgers from the kitchen and set the table while putting food in Maxxs dish.
"C'mon boys!"
They ran to the table and sat in their usual seats. We ate in silence. Hearing a knock on the door, I went to open in when Hunter stopped me while covering my mouth.
"Go upstairs with Andrew and stay there!" he wispered.
Maxx came to Hunters side and growled at the door. "We promised that we wouldn't leave eachothers side"!
"What do you want me to do babe?"
"Maxx go upstairs with Andrew and protect him."
Maxx nodded and took Andrew upstairs. Hunter sighed and slowly opened the door, revealing nothing but air. A knife quickly came in our direction and Hunter pushed me to the side as he fell the other way. Drake came in and picked up Hunter by the neck.
Thinking I was able to save the day, I jumped on Drakes back, but that just made me get flipped over and thrown on my back. Oww! I remembered where Hunter told me the real teddy near was and ran into his room. I picked up the mattress and grabbed the thing, taking out the knife.
Running downstairs, I saw Drake pinned to the ground. They looked at me with the knife and Hunter smirked.
"Face it dad, your out numbered."
Drake pushed Hunter off and ran towards the door. "I'll be back, and prepared!"
"So will we!" I yelled.
Hunter looked at me and smirked. "That's a reason why I love you!"
"Awe I feel special!"
He gave me another smirk. "Andrew Maxx it's ok now!" I yelled.
Andrew ran downstairs with Maxx close behind. He came running into my arms and I picked him up hugging him close.
The next morning, I woke up pretty early so I went and made some breakfast. Instead of pancakes, I made some waffles. Hunter must've smelled them because he came down with Andrew in his arms and Maxx right next to his feet.
"Goodmorning sexy" he said while kissing my lips.
"Hey my three amazing men!"
Putting a waffle in Maxxs dish, he came over and ate it right away. Hunter put Andrew in his seat as his parents sat on either side of him.
"Mommy, Daddy. Can we go to the park today. Maxx wants to stay home and play with princess."
After that, Maxx barked nodding his head. Looking at Hunter, I found him shaking his head 'yes'. "Ok precious. I'll call Mark and tell him he can take Maxx it princess can come here"
With that, I got up and called Mark. He said he would take Maxx for the day. We finished eating and I told Andrew to go and get dressed while Hunter and I did the same.
"You look good half naked" Hunter said while leaning on the door frame.
I rolled my eyes and put on my shirt and shorts. Hunter came over and put his hands on my waist and sucked my neck. "Hunter we can't do this now!"
"Why?"
"Mommy, daddy are you ready?!"
"That's why"
He sighed and followed his son to the car as did I. Hunter buckled Andrew in his seat belt and we drove to the park.
Andrew was playing on the slide as Hunter and I were sitting on the bench and watching him have a good time. I rested my head on Hunters chest as he rubbed my back.
"Hunter. You're the most wonderful husband ever! You gave me everything I could ever want"
"Zo. That's because I love you!"
"I love you too Hunter!"
Turning back to our baby, I didn't see him. I started to panic as I got up and looked for him. "ANDREW?!?"
"Honey calm down he's probobly hiding! Andrew!?"
"Looking for this?" I turned my head to fine Blake holding a gun to Brakes head. I started running towards him when Hunter stopped me.
"Give him back" Hunter demanded.
"Hmm. Give me the bear!"
"Never!" Hunter said.
"GIVE HIM THE FUCKING BEAR DAMIT HUNTER!!"
"Listen to your wife Hunter!"
"SHUT UP!" I yelled.
I looked at Hunter and shook my head. Turning back to Blake, I saw Sally jumping from the woods and tackling Blake. Andrew ran to me and I picked him up, holding him close.
Blake had his gun and I knew what he was about to do. "SALLY LOOK OUT!!"
She must've noticed the gun because she hopped off of him and backed away. "Just leave" Hunter said while shaking his head. Blake nodded and ran like a loser. I gave Andrew to Hunter and ran to Sally.
Hugging her, she returned it. "Thank you. Now go. I can't put you in danger ok?"
She backed away and ran back in the woods. "So that's your secret?" Hunter said walking up to me.
"Yep. And there goes my secret. I'm not putting her in danger like us"
"Well. I think the best idea is we move or something. They know where we live and I can't have them coming to our house every night and trying to kill us"
"Hunter were not moving. That just shows them that we are cowards. I'm not having that"
"Well then what do you want us to do?"
"We are going to have to make a plan."
"And all the other plans we had failed"
"Stop thinking negative ok?! And let's not fight in front of Andrew"
Hunter sighed looking at Andrew and giving him a kiss on the head.
"We should get everyone together and come up with a plan"
I nodded and finally agreeing with him.
These suck yes. I guess it's going by pretty fast but it's ending soon. But I have a good idea in mind for another book :)
