Chapter 1
"Hunter, I honestly don't know what to say"!
He sighed and looked down at the sand.
"YES!"
His head shot up at me and he put the ring on my finger while smiling. He picked me up and twirled me around while kissing my lips.
He put me down but still held onto me, leaning his forehead against mine. "I love you" he wispered.
"I love you more"
"No"
"Yes"
"No"
"Yes"
"No"
"Yes"
He smirked and kissed me again. "You are too beautiful for me. I think my heart will explode. I love you more than air. I love you more than anything! Beat that babe"
"I love you more than life. More than flowers love rain and sun. More than mice liking cheese. More than girls love makeup. More than bees love honey. Even more than crazy girls loving Justin Beiber!"
He smiled and holding me right above the ground like a salsa move, and kissing my lips. He brought me back up and smiled. "You scared me for a second" I said. Just then, a huge wave came crashing towards us and got us totally soaked.
"Wanna go swimming?" he winked. "Were already wet anyways"
"Yeah sure". I ran in the water with him following. He gave my back a huge hug, knocking me right under the salty water. My eyes burned from looking around and seeing nothing but blackness. My hands searched for Hunters face and finally found it. My lips smashed against his before we came back to the surface panting like two black dogs laying in the hot sun all day.
My body started shaking from the freezing cold waves splashing against my back. Hunter noticed and chuckled. He picked me up bridal style and carried me back to the car. He grabbed a blanket from the back and put it around me while holding the door for me.
I sat in the passenger seat waiting for him to get in. When he started the car and started driving, I felt his fingers tangle with mine. I smiled and kissed his cheek, causing him to smirk.
When we got home, I heard Maxx barking like mad. I laughed when Hunter unlocked the door and Maxx leaped at me and I sat down to pet him.
"I need a warm shower". Without even thinking, I said, "you can come if you want" with a wink.
His smirk grew to a grin and quickly followed me to the bathroom. I got undressed and entered the shower with him following. I felt his soapy hands running down my back and to my ass. I just rolled my eyes with a smile.
He turned me around and soaped up my stomach while my back washed off. He slowly moved his hands up, cupping my breats. I moaned low and took his face and kissed his lips. He shoved me against the wall and ran his hands all over my body.
We ended up stopping before we slipped or something from all this soap. The water washed off the soap from my body and we got out of the shower, drying eachother off.
I went into the bedroom to dry my hair and change into pajamas. But then I thought of Cassy and how I need to tell her what happened. Finding my phone, I quickly dialed her number and pressed go.
She answere on the third ring.
"CASSY GUESS WHAT JUST HAPPENED"!
"WHAT?!"
"HUNTER ASKED ME TO MARRY HIM!!!"
"NO WAY!!"
"I KNOW RIGHT!"
"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!?"
"Yes of course."
I didn't hear anything after that. "Cassy?"
"Oh yeah I'm still here sweet cheeks."
"You seem quiet all of a sudden. Why?"
"Zoe. You're only eighteen and getting married."
"So? I thought you were happy for me?"
"No I am. It just worries me. I mean dating is one thing. Getting married. It leads to things!"
"Like what?"
"Babies. Being responsible. Families. And the worst... fighting."
"Me and Hunter would never fight!"
"You guys already do fight as it is! Think about when you get married how worse it will be!"
"Cassy you're my best friend and you should be happy for me! Not complaining."
"Fine but when something happens, go find someone else that will listen to all of your problems!"
With that said, she hung up and I was just listening to silence.
"What was the all about?". My body quickly turned around to find Hunter standing there with his towel still on his hips.
"Nothing. Just... a little fight"
"Do you want to... talk about it?"
"No"
"Good"
"Jerk"
"Hey I asked you if you wanted to talk about it and you said 'no'!"
I rolled my eyes and put on my pajamas before running to the bathroom and puking my brains out.
