Back to the Future Part IV

Nov. 18th, 1995 (AM, 9:25)

Chris slowly gets out of the car, a bit nervously. 1995... how much more crazy could this day get?

"Where... are we?" Chris asks, a bit unsure.

Phil bites his lip and sighs. "I have no clue. All I know is that we need to find someone who can fix this."

"But the only people who know how to fix a fucking time traveling Delorean are the ones who made it."

He nods. "You're right. We need to find Marty or Doc," he announces with an eye roll at Chris' expected smirk.

"Well that's something I thought I'd never hear you say."

Phil sighs. "Alright, Fanboy. Let's get the Delorean out of here."

Together, they push the car back to the imaginary Hill Valley, where they decide to split up to find one of the two of them. Chris searches the north side of town, and Phil the south, searching for any sign of Marty or Doc. Night falls, and they nearly give up. It's only by sheer luck that Chris runs into the one and only Jennifer Parker.

"Oh! Jennifer!" He shouts, relieved. "Thanks God I've found you!"

She looks at him, confused. "I'm sorry, do I know you?"

Chris laughs. "No, you don't. But I know you, and I'm looking for Marty."

"My husband?" She asks, making Chris internally fan over the truth to the second movie. "Well, I hate to disappoint, but him and Doctor Brown have taken a business trip to London."

Chris sighs and nods. "Alright. Well, sounds like I'm going to London."

Jennifer nods, but then looks back at him, still curious. "Is it anything I can help you with? Like, what exactly do you need from him?"

He sighs again. "Well, do you remember the time machine?" He asks, and Jennifer nods slowly.

"Well, I got a hold of it."

She glances at him, confused. She's hesitant to believe him, but she knows that the only people to know of the Delorean's existence are those who have used it. Still, she can't help but ask. "But... it was destroyed back in 1985!"

"Hence where my predicament comes in, right?"

She sighs in confusion. "So... how did you get it?"

"Well, when Marty and Doc traveled to 2015, I happened to be there and I... may or may not have stolen the Delorean."

Jennifer's face flushes with anger. "You what!? How could Marty..." she pauses. "Wait a minute. That's impossible! I was there!"

Chris slaps himself at the realization. "For fuck's sake, that means your 1985 self is stuck in 2015!"

She raises an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

Chris suddenly begins to panic. "Your life is at stake! Jennifer! You need to come with us!"

She shakes her head. "No, no, no, I promised that I'd stay home to take care of Marlene this time."

He groans. "Who gives a fuck! She'll be fine! You need to come with me back to 2015!"

"What? Wait, I don't understand-"

"Come on, Jen! I'm trying to save you! Trust me!"

"But how-"

"Jennifer!"

She groans in confusion and frustration before finally giving in. "Okay! Okay! I'll go! We'll just see what Marty and Doc have to say about it."
