A man's lullaby

He'd never known what life was,
All he knew was the dying scenery
through the broken window
in a four-wall room.

Locked, like in a cage,
his soul was slowly burning
and fading far away.

He didn't know it how to love,
this heart had never beaten.
The colors in his eyes were gone
and his soul was tired of screaming.
The room held him in prison.
The scenery made him sad.
This man didn't know the sunshine,
nor how the moon shines.
He was lost and cold, and lonely,
until he saw the moon.
With her brightness, percolating in the room...
she taught him how to love.
....
The scenery still dies
But the colors in his eyes
are back and he's smiling
because is married to the night.
