It was almost night while the checkup was not done yet. Taehyung was patiently waiting outside when suddenly, the same Aunty he saw that day came.

"Taehyung?" The Aunty said.

"Mrs Choi?".

Mrs Choi approached him and hugged him tightly. Tears were running down her cheeks. She was feeling very guilty.

"I am so sorry that I lied to you about Nami that day, I was angry and shocked at the same time looking at you healthily looking for her..." she explained.

"It's okay, I understand..." Taehyung kissed her forehead and hugged her again.

"Mrs Choi? Your daughter is-".

"Doctor! What is happening to my daughter?" Mrs Choi cut off.

"Nami is at stage 4 of leukemia and she has around a few days left to survive, the tumor in her head is really critical and nothing can help but her strength..." the doctor explained.

Taehyung entered the room. Nami was lying silently, not even moving. Her eyes were closed tightly. He slowly approached her and held her smooth, gentle hand.

"I'm sorry, forgive me, I shouldn't have left you at the first place, I was wrong, I know that, I deserve a slap from you...".

Her hands were cold but she was still breathing.

Taehyung turned at the small desk beside him and saw a piece of letter with a poem on it.

ENTRY 08 :

Now that you're here
You made it clear
You're right
You will come
Even if you've drunken beer

Hold my hands
Tightly
Never let them go
Promise me
Never let me go

Wait until one day
I will go with the wind
Slowly blown away
Then let them be
And you will surely see

What's it like
To leave behind
The memories
Between you and me

To : Kim Taehyung, ( 친구)
From : Choi Nami, (너의 천사)

Taehyung folded the paper nicely and covered his mouth while crying continuously. He wasn't the best friend that she would like him to be but seeing her in grief and pain made him felt guilty.

He should have been there for her all this while but chose to leave her alone. Taehyung put the letter aside and gently, pushed his lips on hers even though she wasn't conscious.
