"Yikes, who's that?" I ask the pink dog. "Shirno, you dumbass." She growls quietly. "Oh... If he dies does that mean my debt is gone or no?" Uneasy feelings crept up on Y/N, and the only way she knew how to lighten it is to... Well, lighten up the situation with jokes. "No, it'll increase and you'll have a bounty on your head for waiting that long." She narrows her eyes at me before saying, "My name is Overtha, by the way."
"Cool, how come Niko is still up and running?" Y/N stares at Niko's throat scar as he comes closer, the dogs behind him still following. "That demon husky seemingly wanted him to suffer before he died... Maybe he's the boss of the Wilds." Overtha hints at something in the future. "Take him to the Med Train, I have to deal with a... problem at the desk." The five dogs nod and carry unconscious Shirno to the bundle of trains nearby. "Y/N, the dog who almost got me killed, how's it going?" Niko smiles as he sits down, his bloody nails digging into the dirt. "I just wanted to pay off the debt, because I was very, very sad about your injury." Y/N nervously smiled at the brindle-colored dog staring daggers at her. "Oh, and it's pretty good. You know, old Alpha Shasta is still alpha and-"
"I just wanted to know about the first part. Anyways, if you haven't noticed, we're in a crisis right now. So I suggest you go back to Ol' dog Shasta before you get killed." He snaps quietly before leaving. "I feel like you want him to hate you, you of all dogs should know that he hates Shasta." Overtha quietly chuckles as they, her and Y/N, watch Niko run in the direction he came in, eventually disappearing behind the hill. "Hey, why is he running back?" Y/N squints as he frantically runs up the hill and down it. "Dang, all of your dogs look so scraggly and diseased." Y/N watches around twenty dogs appear from behind the hill, blood on their faces and claws.
"Them wild dogs, hun. We should probably retreat to the Med Train, it's the only one on the tracks!" Overtha whimpers loudly and retreats to the Med Train with Niko, and Y/N following. Other dogs soon followed, shouting and screaming for their life.
--Y/N's Time To Shine--
"W-What happened?" Shirno woke up as Overtha managed to lock the sliding doors from the inside. "You were knocked out by one of those pimply looking dogs, sir," Niko answers him. "What the hell are we doing locked up in a train? We have to repel them, Niko, not hide from them." Shirno flashes his canines at his beta.
"S-sir, they've defeated us, this is the last of our soldiers... Aside from Overtha and Y/N." Niko bows his head as Shirno comes closer. "Why the hell is Y/N here, I told you we weren't going to-"
"I just wanted to pay my debt, why do dogs assume I'm not here to pay it?!"
"Nobody is assuming that!" Niko shouts.
"Shut up, you stupid dogs! There's more at stake here than debt!" Overtha shouts, Shirno silently agreeing with her.
"I thought we were getting our ass beat by diseased dogs, Niko?" Shirno turns his head to the locked door. "We are sir," Niko says. "Then why aren't they banging on the cart nonstop like zombies?" It was strange... Maybe they passed the train?
"Don't know, sir, they're probably waiting for us to get out of it. Would you like me to get us moving?"
"Yes, I want to regroup at Shasta's territory and ally with him." Shirno sighs as his Beta goes to a makeshift handle in the back. "Uh, sir, they've chewed the rope for it!" Niko pulls on the handle with his teeth, the "wire" for it, pops out of the hole. "We're screwed." Shirno sighs again and goes into a depressed state.
"I could probably help, I-"
"Your little magic tricks can't move a cart, Y/N." Niko interrupts her as he leans against the rusty walls of the cart. "I'm not talking about just telekinesis, I'm talking about wind movement..."
