you'd dragged ben along with you not only to the mall but into the change room too. "bennnnnn, you like this one?" "hmm, oh, yeah, beautiful.." he muttered without looking up from his book.
your arms dropped to your side, realizing he didn't give two shits about what you were wearing. "ben, bubba?" "you look great in anything, y/n/n.." he rattled off his prepackaged responses with each whiney question you fired.
next thing he knew, the book went flying out of his hands. "seriouslyyy, what'd'ya think?" you loosely gestured to the white dress spotted with pale blue flowers. honestly, ben thought you looked absolutely gorgeous but he didn't want to give in and admit defeat so he simply whined, "i told you, you look beautiful. can i have the book now?"
you huffed and tosses the book over to him before kissing the top of his head. he was difficult sometimes but god did you love him.
